Question 1

Will I need a valid ID to book this home?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-
in. We collect this data through our partner, Truvi.

Is there any protocol that I need to follow when I book this home?

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
The HOUSE RULES, for the House located at 1525 N. Ogden Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90046, as outlined below, apply to the Booking Party (name on the reservation) and anyone else staying at the home (Guests) and/or visiting the home (GUESTS) with pre-approval from host/co-hosts. By signing the HOUSE RULES, the Booking Party is acknowledging full awareness of them and compliance with them.

Furthermore the GUESTS and any Friends of Guests visiting the home shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Hosts and the Co-Hosts against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss.

Guests expressly recognize that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Hosts and Co-Hosts may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Guests, and that Guests should purchase their own insurance for Themselves and Their Guests if such coverage is desired.

The Booking Party (Guest) also agrees that by signing, ALL guests included in the reservation/booking as well as any/all visitors to the home during the booking period, have full knowledge of the HOUSE RULES and agree to be bound by them while on property.

If booking via Nonpareil Stays or Booking.com, guests are required to pay a Security Deposit at time of booking. This is a REFUNDABLE deposit and will be returned to the method of payment within 7 days of guest departure provided there are NO damages. 
House Rules must be signed at least 24 hours before the arrival/check-in date.

Question 3

Do I need to submit names of the other people on the reservation?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all quests who are staying at the home overnight must submit their names to be included on the reservation.
They must also agree to be bound by the rental terms and conditions.

What time can I arrive?

Check in time is at 3 PM. Occasionally we can accommodate an earlier check in. Please request through our store: ➡️  https://app.thehost.co/7311/  You will receive a confirmation message if it is possible.

Question 5

How do I get in?

Accepted Answer

Your personalized smart lock code will be sent to you the day of your arrival. We will meet you for a walkthrough of the home, its systems & facilities. 
Front Door Lock:
To UNLOCK: enter the 4 digit code you were given at check-in
To LOCK: Press the lock icon on the bottom right of the lock

The smart lock code will expire at 11:15 AM on your departure date.

Anything else I should know about my reservation?

When you book your stay with us, every stay gives back. In partnership with Kind Traveler, your stay results in a $1 per night donation to support Wolf Connection. Through our community impact program, every $1 you contribute will go directly to supporting Wolf Connection. Additionally, Nonpareil Stays will match every $1 donated to the cause. You’ll see a line item for “Community Impact Program” on your folio.

Does this home have noise restrictions?

Enjoy all the interior and outdoor spaces but please keep noise levels low between 10 PM and 8 AM to respect our neighbors. Thanks!

Is there a smoking policy?

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house or anywhere on property.

Question 9

What's the policy if I forget something at the house after I've checked out?

Accepted Answer

Please keep track of your personal belongings. ANY valuables left on the property/site are left at your own risk. Owners & co-hosts are not responsible. Any personal items left on premises post-checkout by guests will be subject to a $50 convenience fee for returning (via USPS, UPS and/or Fed-x)

Are there any services available to us during our stay?

Nonpareil Stays is a full service concierge team. We are ready to assist with all of your requests e.g. chef service, masseuse, yoga instructor, car rental, just to name a few. Fees for services are separate from rental fee and will be due at time of booking.

Is there a guidebook for the home?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is a digital quidebook for the home that includes the House Manual with information on all the house's
systems along with neighborhood info, restaurant recommendations, activities and more. The link will be sent once the booking is confirmed.

Question 12

Can we play the piano?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are welcome to play and enjoy the piano. We ask that you please follow a couple rules:
- Wash your hands before playing
- No food or drink near the piano
- No banging on the piano keys
- Do not open piano lid

Can we bring pets?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may bring dogs (2 max) and there is a separate fee for this service. If bringing a pet to the home, it is the responsibility of the guest to ensure ALL dog debris is removed from the yard (front/back) daily and disposed of properly. If there are any accidents inside the home, please clean them up immediately and let us know if you have any problems. If dog debris and/or accidents are found post checkout, there will be a separate charge for any cleanings related to them.

The house has a pool, spa, trampoline & gym. What do I need to know about these?

Accepted Answer

All Guests see that the home has a pool, spa, in-ground trampoline, weight/exercise room (with free weights, elliptical machine, etc.) and understand that they will need to exercise caution to use any of the above facilities/amenities.

By signing, the Booking Party and Guests agree that they are willingly using (pool, spa, in-ground trampoline, weight/exercise room with free weights, elliptical machine, etc.) and will adhere to all rules as outlined in the House Rules manual.

If the Booking Party and Guests end up experiencing personal injury as a result of use, they agree that they will not hold the property owners of the home liable for those injuries. 
Accordingly, the booking party & guests expressly waive any and all liability that the owners of the home might incur as a result of any personal injuries they might experience because of using these facilities/amenities.

The Booking Party and Guests hereby waive their rights to seek liability for any injuries arising from the use of the (pool, spa, in-ground trampoline, weight/exercise room with free weights, elliptical machine, etc.) located at 1525 N Ogden Dr, West Hollywood, CA 90046 from the Homeowners as well as their past, present and future heirs, attorneys, agents, representatives, employees, managers, successors-in-interest and assigns.

The Booking Party and Guests make this agreement willingly, and understand that they can easily not use these facilities/amenities.

Question 15

Are there rules for the Pool & Spa?

SAFETY RULES FOR THE POOL/SPA: 
THE POOL IS SHALLOW! 
So, do not enter headfirst (absolutely no diving).
-No children may go in or near the pool unless CLOSELY supervised.
-No food or drinks in the pool
- Turn on the AQUALINK pool remote - located on ipad in office
- The pool and spa are available for our guests and can be used at your own risk. Children must be monitored by an adult at all times. Pool temperature is set to 86 degrees. The spa is set to 104 degrees.
***NOTE: The yellow and white patio can be VERY slippery with wet feet***

Can I use the trampoline?

TRAMPOLINE:
 The trampoline in the front yard is available to use for our guests at their own risk. We ask that you follow these rules:
1)	Only one person at a time on the trampoline
2)	Absolutely NO FLIPPING

Is the gym equipment available for guests to use?

Accepted Answer

The Gym is available for guests over 18 and can be used at your own risk. We ask that you follow these rules:
1)	Do not drop any weights on the floor
2)	Please wipe down all equipment and return back where you found it

Is there a BBQ?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The BBQ is hooked up to a permanent gas line so there is no need to turn on any propane tank. To ignite any of the burners, just push and hold any of the burner knobs in for 5-10 seconds, then, while continuing to press in, turn the knob to high. Once lit, you can release the knob and turn to the desired heat setting. Repeat for any other burners. Extra BBQ implements below the BBQ in a plastic tub.

Question 19

Can the interior or exterior fireplaces be used?

FIREPLACES:
If in season, we have placed a Dura-Flame log in each of the 2 fireplaces along with some matches. This is the ONLY allowed item to be burned in either of the fireplaces.

Question 20

Anything else to know about the outdoor dining & pool areas?

Accepted Answer

All hardscape elements (gravel, etc.) around the outside areas & yard are to REMAIN in the yard. They are not to be removed and/or tossed in the pool.

Question 21

Can I park onsite?

Accepted Answer

You may park one car in the driveway in front of the driveway gate. The gardener and pool cleaners will use the driveway gate for backyard access. 
You must park NO CLOSER than the front of the side pedestrian gate or you risk your car being hit. Also, please do not park and block the sidewalk.If failure to adhere to this requirement results in a vehicle being hit, the owner/co-hosts are not liable/responsible for any damages and/or repairs.
We are also providing 2 parking passes that will allow you to keep up to 2 cars in the street. These passes are good 24/7 except during street cleaning, Tuesdays between 9a-12n. Please read all signs carefully when parking around Los Angeles.

Question 22

Does the house have an alarm?

Yes, there's a KEY FOB, which controls the alarm, which will be left for you during your stay. Please familiarize yourself with the buttons. Make sure you have this with you anytime you leave the house. Please do not lose the KEY FOB as it is a hassle to get a new one and there will be a $150 charge.
