Private Group Dance Classes: Burlesque, Hip Hop, Chair Dance & More

What you'll do:

Learn a fun choreographed routine & create a lasting memory with your party. No experience required, as these classes are beginner-friendly! Decide from a variety of dance styles including burlesque, sexy chair dance, hip hop, video vixen, dance cardio, & more. Choose to have custom choreography created for your group to a song of your choice or choose from the dance style options & your instructor will bring an already curated dance routine to teach. Warm-up playlist customization based on your requested songs/music genre.

About this experience partner:

My name is Ashlie & I started Pop-Up Dance Class when I discovered there were hardly any dance classes for adults in the Palm Springs area. I teach these pop-ups at dance studios in multiple cities throughout the Coachella Valley, Joshua Tree, Temecula, & also offer private lessons both in studio or I can come to you. Classes are meant to be light-hearted & beginner friendly. No judgement & no experience required. Just encouragement, fun, laughs, & an all-around good time!

Additional information:

• Fierce Foxy Chairography Class: It's best to wear an outfit you feel sexy & cute in, but that you still have a full range of motion in. Heels or barefoot. Sexy, slow & sensual dance routine utilizing chairs (can be without chairs as well).
• House Party Hip Hop Class: typically it's best to wear at least one loose article of clothing such as a baggy t-shirt, crop top, pants, or shorts. Sneakers or boots. This option can be dance cardio or a choreography-based class. Please note which you would prefer.
• Sass & Class Burlesque: It's best to wear an outfit you feel sexy & cute in, but that you still have a full range of motion in. Barefoot, sneakers, or boots. Props may or may not be utilized in this class (provided). You'll learn a sassy, comedic, & sexy routine with a mix of Neo & traditional burlesque.
• Video Vixens Class: It's best to wear an outfit you feel sexy & cute in, but that you still have a full range of motion in. Sneakers or boots. For this class you'll learn the style of dancing you typically see in pop music videos. Think Pussycat Dolls, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, etc.
• Get Up & Go-Go Dance Cardio Class: It's best to wear an outfit you feel sexy & cute in, but that you still have a full range of motion in. Sneakers, boots, or barefoot. You'll learn a variety of moves at the beginning of class that we will piece together for a cardio workout that is much more fun & pleasant than spending an hour on the treadmill.
• Lastly, you also have the option to attend a public group dance class from the regularly scheduled local pop-ups if you would prefer. Please reach out to see if a public dance class is scheduled during your desired time. Pricing varies depending on the style & length of the class as well as the size of your party. Attire will be advised upon booking of public class.
