Crafting on King Street: A DIY Party at Big Gurl

What you'll do:

Get crafty in the heart of downtown Charleston! Big Gurl hosts creative hands-on workshops where your group can make something beautiful, funky, or just-for-fun—from collage and watercolor to air-dry clay, mosaic tiling, and more. Our welcoming studio on King Street is perfect for a girls' night out, bachelorette party, birthday celebration, or team bonding event. All supplies are included, and our team is there to guide you, so no experience is necessary—just bring your creativity!

  • Monday & Tuesday: 9 AM – 9 PM

  • Wednesday – Friday: 9 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Saturday & Sunday: 9 AM – 11:30 AM + 6:30 PM – 9 PM

• Craft pricing (per person):

  • Collage / Vision Boards – $35

  • Watercolors + Pastels – $35

  • Air-Dry Clay – $45

  • Mosaic Tiling – $75

  • Forte Beaded Bracelets – $65

  • Ink Block Printing (on totes or postcards) – $75

• Custom crafts available upon request!

• Capacity: up to 32 guests

• Timing: events last 2 hours (option to add more time available for a flat hourly fee)

• Extras: bring your own snacks + drinks, and we welcome your decor!

• Invoices will include a 10% service and processing fee, and 9% Charleston County Sales Tax

• $500 minimum spend required (crafts only — does not apply to merch, drinks, etc.)
