Private Wine Tasting with Customizable Theme

What you'll do:

Wine knowledge may seem intimidating and out of reach, but I’m here to make it fun and engaging. I customize the theme of each wine tasting to make it a perfect fit for you and your friends! I tend to alternate between a balance of useful and in-depth knowledge and fun, playful party vibes. At the end of the day, it's just grapes ;) There are three tiers you can choose from: Basic, Elevated, and High End. In each tier, the quality of the wine increases. All the wines are carefully selected, made by small producers growing sustainable grapes and making low-intervention wines. If you're not sure what that means, we'll discuss it in the tasting!

About this experience partner:

Dan Solway is a certified sommelier with over a decade of experience in the industry. He has worked on vineyards in France, Austria, and Germany. He has worked as a sommelier in high end restaurants, in wine retail, and currently sells wine for importer and distributor V.O.S. Selections. He started Santé four years ago to create intimate and engaging food and wine experiences that are accessible to everyone. Santé has been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philly Magazine for its dinner parties and wine tastings.

  • Are there certain regions or grapes you're most interested in learning about?

  • Questions about wine you've always wanted to ask but have been too embarrassed to?

  • Tell me more about the bride or birthday person: What's their personality like? What kind of music do they like? Movies? Other Interests? I'll do my best to incorporate these details into the tasting in a fun way, so the more information the better!
