Denver and Red Rocks Amphitheater Fun Tour with Stops at Historic Capitol Hill, Buffalo Bill's Gravesite & More

What you'll do:

Let's explore Denver, where gold was first found at the scenic area of Confluence Park. Imagine, this area was once not too long ago full of cowboys and Native Indians, and where they first set up their homes and tepees.

Venture into the historic LoDo, where General Larimer first established Denver, but now this area is a block of swanky restaurants and boutiques like the artsy RiNo area. On to the Capitol, where we will stop for some pictures on the steps of the Capitol, where you will be exactly one mile high, then we will continue onward to Capitol Hill to see some of the mansions that are not only stunningly beautiful but have some incredible ghost stories that persist today.

Leaving Denver, we ascend to over 6,400 feet and visit The Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater.

In Red Rocks Park, there are miles of hiking trails intertwined with red-orange hued sandstone cliffs and rocks that offer incredible views of downtown Denver. In addition, Red Rocks Amphitheater is a world-famous music venue and is known for its natural sandstone rock that creates some of the best natural acoustics in the world.

Onward, we will go to the top of Lookout Mountain, where you'll see some more amazing views of the surrounding mountains and a Buffalo preserve area. We will visit the gravesite of Buffalo Bill. After you hear some amazing stories about his life and his accomplishments, we descend the Lariat Loop to the quaint cowboy town of Golden

In Golden, we will visit this charming town and stop for an hour for lunch or just shop at some of the unique boutiques on the main street. Then onward to Denver.

Brad, the tour leader, has been doing private tours all over Colorado for 10 years. He has done bus tours and party tours as well. He grew up in the Swiss and French Alps, and therefore, when he saw a chance to move to Colorado over 30 years ago, he took it.
