What you'll do:

Discover the flavor-packed world of dumplings!

In this dumpling-making master class, you'll delve into the art of crafting delectable dumplings entirely from scratch. Our session kicks off with a hands-on demonstration on crafting the perfect dumpling dough. Participants will then have the chance to roll out and work with the dough, guided by the expertise of our chef instructor, to make their own dumpling wrappers. Chef Alvaro will unveil the secrets of infusing natural colors and flavors into the dough, so you can experiment with an array of tastes and textures. We'll use bell peppers, beats, spinach, and purple cabbage to derive natural colorful extracts.

Two different filling options will be demonstrated and available to enjoy during the class: Garlic Ginger Chicken (or Turkey), and Tofu will be substituted for chicken as a vegetarian and vegan-friendly option. There will be an opportunity to try your hands at some knife skills to assist in the filling preparation process. The culinary adventure continues as you master the fundamentals of dumpling folding, exploring five various shapes such as triangular, crescent, and pleated. Elevate your cooking expertise with insider tips on how to steam and sear your dumplings to perfection.
