What you'll do:

Step into the storied Gold Bar Whiskey Distillery, a landmark art deco venue on Treasure Island with sweeping Bay views of San Francisco, The Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Only minutes from downtown San Francisco by car, ferry or public transit, this unique venue combines city history, whiskey culture, and scenic beauty.

Masterclass participants will enjoy an interactive cocktail making experience where you will learn tips and tricks of the trade and how to make three delicious cocktails:

• The Gold Fashioned: Gold Bar Whiskey's special take one of the world's most classic cocktails. Learn how to top with a flaming orange peel!

• Whiskey Sour: A refreshing cocktail that's both tangy and sweet with a frothy top.

• Pan Am Clipper Paper Plane: Inspired by the Distillery building (former Pan Am Airport from 1939) this version is the perfect balance of tart, bitter, and slightly sweet flavors. Plus you get to top it with your own handmade paper plane!

While crafting your cocktails, enjoy a guided tasting of Gold Bar Whiskey's award-winning whiskies and bourbons - crafted with California’s adventurous spirit and double-casked in Napa Valley wine barrels. Perfect for date nights, group events, holiday parties, and team-building, this experience mixes education with entertainment.

The entire session is held at the Gold Bar Distillery, San Francisco's #1 Distillery and Tasting Room. The Distillery is located in the former Pan Am Airport on the historic Treasure Island.
