Cocktail City Tours Charleston

Michael was an excellent guide-very engaging and shared interesting historical facts while having fun. If you’re looking to make a great memory in Charleston, add the cocktail city tour to your list of to-do activities!

Amazing experience would definitely recommend! Great environment, drinks, and friendly people.

The tour guides and Don were great. Easy to set up our tour. They accomodated our larger group. I feel like we needed to have more of the locations spread out, each bar have a Charleston story/ history. Maybe, make the signature drink have also a story. One bar didn't have a fun story or history.. just seemed like it was a spot the bar owner / tour guide had made up to not walk as far. We went to High Cotton and not once mentioned it was filmed for " The Notebook". I also had asked to not go to same locations as our planned dinner and they didn't make that change. On the walk to the bars would also been fun to stop and tell history on the way to the next pub.

Michael was very nice however, the tour we signed up was a speakeasy prohibition cocktail tour. The guide doesn't drink which I would think when explaining the drinks we were having that would have been helpful. We only toured three bars and the last was a hookah/bar not sure it was around during the prohibition? Thought we would have hit a few more bars and maybe a speakeasy. The tour was okay not what I expected.

Most fire tour ever attended in the history of tours to ever be fire

The Prohibition Tour is amazing! Jonah did a great job of tailoring the tour to what we wanted to see. He is extremely knowledgeable of Charleston history and a very fun host! We will definitely do another one of his tours next time we get to Charleston.
