Malibu Bunkhouse is a one-of-a-kind private retreat tucked into five acres in the Malibu mountains, designed for groups who want to stay together, celebrate and experience a different side of Malibu.
The property has a rustic, laid-back California feel with plenty of character and space to gather. With the addition of our newest private cabin, the property can accommodate up to 12 guests, making it especially well suited for bachelorette weekends, girls’ trips, wedding weekends and group getaways.
Spend slow mornings together watching the gorgeous sunrise with the bunnies and the birds at the Bunkhouse before heading out for wine tasting, horseback riding, the beach or a day exploring Malibu. At the end of the day, come back to your own private mountain retreat, surrounded by nature and away from the crowds.

The property is just minutes from local wineries, horseback riding, beautiful hiking trails and some of Malibu’s most popular wedding venues, including Calamigos Ranch and Cielo Farms. Malibu’s beaches, restaurants, shopping and the Pacific Coast Highway are all a short drive away.

Do we need a car?
We highly recommend having a car while visiting Malibu. Uber and Lyft are available, but service can vary. Larger groups may want to arrange a private driver in advance, especially for winery days and nights out.
Can we have a party or event at the property?
Small celebrations and gatherings may be possible with prior approval. Please reach out before booking with your plans and total guest count so we can make sure the Bunkhouse is a good fit.
