Fifteen Years Local, With Proceeds That Actually Stay in Nashville
Abbey teaches the majority of the classes herself. When she can't, she brings in local instructors she knows and trusts, people who've spent years, sometimes decades, on their craft. She's a certified Reiki Master with more than a decade of daily practice behind her, and outside of bachelorette parties she teaches corporate clients like HCA, leads classes at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and the Nashville Public Library, and runs donation based sessions at The Oasis Center for local youth. Ten percent of what Namaste Nashville earns goes straight back into the city, including programs that help feed Metro Nashville Public Schools students on weekends and school breaks. Booking a class means the instructor showing up at your door, but it also means supporting a local business that's putting money back into the community that keeps Nashville's visitor economy running.
Built for the Person Who Says They Don't Do Yoga
You do not need to have ever touched a yoga mat to have a good time here. Abbey has taught total beginners standing next to experienced yogis in the same session, hungover brides who needed something calm and slow, and groups where fitness levels are all over the map, and she adjusts the class in real time so nobody feels lost or singled out. Classes range from a gentle Bliss Flow to a more challenging power vinyasa Nirvana Flow, but every version is built to give people that "I can't believe I just did that" moment without anyone needing to be the most flexible person in the room. She shows up fully stocked, too: mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, a playlist, essential oils, and crystals, so the group doesn't have to bring or figure out anything.
A Celebration Built Around the Bride, Wherever You're Staying
Namaste Nashville comes to you, whether that's a downtown Airbnb, a rooftop, or wherever the group has set up camp for the weekend. The class itself is playful and upbeat rather than serious studio energy, with moments built around the bride and a champagne toast to close things out. Groups can add rosé, mimosas, or wine to that toast, or go bigger with the Nirvana Flow package, which layers in a fire ceremony, chakra balancing or spirit animal meditation, and personalized healing crystals for each guest. Abbey also photographs the group throughout, so the hour that was supposed to be a quick reset ends up as some of the best photos from the whole trip. After a weekend of restaurants, bars, and constant noise, it gives everyone an hour to actually be present with each other before the next round of celebrating starts.
That's usually when the person who told Abbey at the start, "just so you know, I don't do yoga," finds her afterward to say it was one of the best parts of the weekend.
