Whether you're celebrating a birthday, bachelorette, or just craving a cozy moment with your favorite people, this DIY candle-making experience is the perfect way to slow down, connect, and craft something personal.
You’ll start by placing your wick, then dive into our scent bar stocked with dozens of dreamy scented waxes. Mix and match as many as you’d like to create your signature blend. Once you've found your perfect scent blend, you'll pour your candle, design a custom label, and finish it off with adorable wax toppings.
We’ll walk you through each step so your candle is as functional as it is fabulous.

Relume is a woman-owned creative space and shop based in DC, known for our one-of-a-kind DIY events, craft parties, and curated small business goods. Our charm bar parties have become a local favorite for bachelorettes, birthdays, office parties, and friend hangs. We believe crafting should be fun, playful, and reilluminate our passions.

Where is your store located?
We are located at 760 C St SE, Washington DC 20003 in Eastern Market.
Is there parking at your store?
There is street parking available out front and in the surrounding neighborhood as well as, a parking garage across the street (LAZ 700 Pennsylvania Avenue SE).
Can we bring food and drinks?
Feel free to BYOB! (beer and wine only please) We do ask that if your event is during our normal store hours you refrain from bringing food due to allergies. However, we do offer off-site and after hours events where we can accommodate groups that want food and drink as part of their experience!
Do you do private and off-site events?
Yes, we would be happy to bring the party to you! We also offer after hours events at our storefront if you are looking for a more private experience.
