What are the setup requirements for a Sip bar cart rental?
For indoor set-up, we require a door opening that’s at least 5 feet wide and a standard 120V outlet. That’s it! If your event is outdoors and there is no access to power, we can bring our quiet generator to operate the cart for an extra fee.
Do I have to pay a booking deposit?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to reserve one of our bar carts for your event, along with a signed contract. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event date. If your event is within 45 days, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
Can I use my own bartenders?
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own bartender or take advantage of our complete package and use ours. We’ll provide one or more certified bartenders, depending on your event size, who are dedicated to providing excellent service to your guests.
What types of beverages can the tap truck serve?
Our mobile carts are versatile and equipped with seven taps that can pour various beverages, including champagne, draft beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, cold brew, juices, sodas and more! Whether you’re interested in alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, our mobile bar cart can serve everything you need to please your guests. Due to state laws, we are not permitted to provide alcohol for our mobile bar carts. You, the venue or your caterer will be responsible for providing any alcohol you want to serve, and then we will take it from there! If you would like, we can provide you with our supplier’s contact information so you can purchase alcohol at our wholesale rates and arrange delivery straight to your event!
How do I know how much alcohol to buy?
When planning an event, the last thing you want is to run out of alcohol when the night is still young! Luckily, we have a drink calculator that will help you estimate how much alcohol (or non-alcoholic beverages) you will need for your event. Our calculator takes into account various event details, including: - The number of guests attending your event - How much your guests typically drink - How many hours you’ll be serving and more!

What’s the gratuity policy?
There is no need to worry about tipping separately, as a 20% gratuity is added on to each package price.
What kind of insurance does Sip Social Co. carry?
We carry general liability and alcohol liability insurance, and all of our bartenders are fully certified in Austin.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel 60 or more days before your event date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations 31-59 days prior to the event will receive a refund of 50% of the deposit, and cancellations within the 30-day period prior to the event will not receive a refund.
