Pickup is a breeze—we’ll meet you right in downtown Traverse City (typically at the Hardy Street Parking Structure next to Middlecoast Brewery) so there’s no need to walk to a park or meet somewhere remote. Expect a relaxed pace with zero rush, gorgeous scenery, and a curated itinerary featuring four outstanding wineries on day tours, or three wineries and an optional distillery on sunset/afternoon tours. Winery selection is based on availability, guest preferences, weather, and season—and if you have favorites, just let your guide know!

Your guides aren’t just drivers; they’re seasoned wine connoisseurs with real experience in the wine industry. Many of us came from the original bus world and trained the drivers you’ll find on other tours. We are the original, and we know Traverse City’s wine culture inside and out. With us, you’ll get genuine wine recommendations and an authentic, elevated tasting experience—not just a shuttle from point A to B.

Wine samples are included, but tastings, food, and additional wine purchases are not part of the tour price. Groups are intentionally kept small for a semi-private or even fully private experience—groups of 6–7 often have a dedicated GMC Yukon to themselves. And yes, fancy wine-drinking hats are strongly encouraged. • We work with various wineries on Old Mission Peninsula, we go to 4 locations on our standard tour. Have a favorite? Let your guide know what wineries are on your wish list. Day tour guests go to 4 wineries, and sunset/afternoon tour guests go to 3 wineries and an optional distillery. Winery selection is determined by availability, guest choice, weather conditions, and season. Our Old Mission Peninsula Tours feature Hawthorne Vineyards, Bowers Harbor Vineyards, Brys Estates, Chateau Chantal, Chateau Grand Traverse, Bonobo Winery and Old Mission Distillers.

• Pickup is at Hardy Street Parking Structure, east side of the structure near the State Street entrance next to Middlecoast Brewery, look for some luxury GMC Yukons/Cadillac Escalades. Hardy Street Parking Structure is across the street from Park Place Hotel. We also pick up at some local downtown Traverse City locations- email or text us your location.

• Our guests don't have to walk miles to a far-away park to get on some old run-down bus! OR worse, guests won't have to drive to some park only to drive back to Traverse City after a day of drinking wine! Don't come here on vacation and leave on probation! Movie Stars Wine Tours guests get picked up and dropped off in Downtown Traverse City.

• Get to the pickup point, and we can usually drop off at local hotels/motels after the wine tour.

• Bought a box of wine? No problem, after the wine tour, go out and experience downtown Traverse City, and pick up your wine the next day.
