How long will my pillow last?

If cared for properly, your Ballast outdoor pillow should see you through several beach and camping seasons. Here are some important tips to keep in mind: Use Your Pillow On a Blanket Or Towel Be sure to protect your pillow from sharp objects, and this includes broken shells, twigs, and craggy rocks that can sometimes be found in sand. For this reason, we encourage you to place your pillow on a towel rather than directly on the sand itself. Even the softest sand can contain hidden objects that can tear, or puncture, your pillow. Dry Fabric Completely Before Storing Make sure the pillow is completely dry before storing it to prevent mold or mildew from forming. Fortunately the Ballast pillow fabric dries fast, especially in the sun.

How do I clean my pillow?

We highly recommend hand washing with warm, soapy water and air drying. If machine washing is a must, keep it on warm and low. Do not put it in the dryer, as it can damage the air valve and bladder.
