About this Experience

What you'll do:

Think bar crawl, but with your own designated driver! Hop aboard a golf cart with your Puzzlemaster at the wheel as you travel safely from pub to pub in Old Town Scottsdale. Each crawl includes three or four bar stops, chosen based on your group’s preferences for atmosphere, drinks, or vibe.

At each stop, you’ll settle in with a drink (not included) while tackling puzzles, clues, and challenges with your team. These puzzles can be solved entirely at any bar, so no rushing off mid-round. Each location gives you plenty of time to laugh, sip, and play.

Whether you’re out to crown a winning team, crack a whodunit, or just enjoy drinks with friends, your Puzzlemaster keeps the fun going all night.

The Puzzle:

At each stop, your team will face a mix of mental and physical challenges designed to test your wit, teamwork, and speed. From trivia and riddles to hands-on puzzles and quirky challenges, every round keeps the energy high. By the end, the team with the most points will claim victory (and bragging rights). It’s the perfect mix of drinks, laughs, and puzzles rolled into one unforgettable night out.

Our adults-only Puzzling Pub Crawls will whisk you from bar to bar, where you have to think so you can drink! Your Puzzlemaster will be your DD and tour guide of Old Town Scottsdale on these puzzling pub crawls!

All rides are private, and we meet you at a designated pickup spot where you can park your vehicle close to your final bar. It’s the perfect way to have a memorable Bachelor party or Bachelorette party with your girls!

  • All crawls are for ages 21+, alcohol not included, private by default, and start at a designated meet-up spot in Old Town Scottsdale.

How many people can participate?

You can book parties of up to 10 online. Have more than 10? We can accommodate larger groups of up to 25 in Scottsdale – please call us directly at (602)601-2261. Please note groups of 6 or more are split up between multiple carts. With 2 or more carts you will be “dueling”: all carts will have their own identical puzzle kit and race each other to win!

What can we expect when we arrive?

Arrive at our meeting spot AT LEAST 10 MINUTES EARLY and ready to play. Wear comfortable clothing, use the restroom prior to your arrival and have your thinking caps on! BRING YOUR READING GLASSES if you need them! Your Puzzle Master Driver will go over safety rules and expectations. Every rider should have signed the online liability waiver form; if they forget, they will be asked to electronically sign it on the spot.

Are we really riding around in a vehicle?

Yes! You will be riding around on Scottsdale public roads in one of our EZGO S6 golf carts with your PuzzleMaster as driver. Our carts are equipped with seat belts, and are allowed on roads that go under 35mph. We are a licensed livery vehicle in the State of Arizona, and your PuzzleMaster Driver has completed a full background check. PuzzleMasters are experienced golf cart drivers, who will not only transport you throughout the game, but assist you during the game. Prior to game play, your driver will explain all safety rules and emergency procedures to ensure a safe and fun time by all.

What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

Puzzle Rides does not offer direct refunds on any ride, but will issue a store credit good for one year should you have to cancel at any time or if weather causes us to postpone due to safety reasons. Pub Crawls that are canceled or rescheduled less than 7 days before their booking time will be subject to a $50 rescheduling fee. Under no circumstance should sick guests attend a ride. If you call in advance, we will issue you a voucher for a future time and waive a rescheduling fee. If you show up with sick guests, we will cancel your ride and NO REFUND will be given. Vouchers will be issued minus a $100 rescheduling fee. If you would like to purchase Enhanced Refund Protection for an additional cost at check out, please read all of our terms and conditions BEFORE purchasing. Please note that in any refund situation, booking fees and Refund Protection costs are NEVER refundable.
