Nightly Spirits Historic Haunted Booze & Boos Tours look at some of the spookiest places in Charlotte while allowing time to really enjoy the “spirits” along the way. Our tours stop at 3-4 different local bars and give you a look into their haunted and historic past.

Age limit: You must be 21 or older to participate (with valid ID)
The tour begins at the Dunhill Hotel. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the tour start time for check-in.
We will wait for 5 minutes after start time for everyone, then the group will be at the first location for approximately 15-20 minutes (if you are later than that, please reach out to us by phone, 844-678-8687, and we will do our best to catch you up to the group)

Frequently Asked Questions
Are drinks included?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!! There aren’t drink specials in this world low enough for us to cover operating costs and give you 3-4 drinks at our low ticket prices. Most of our bars offer drink specials, but we make no guarantees.
Does everyone have to be over 21?
For our Booze and Boos Tours: Yes!! The bars we visit are 21+ and we will NOT make exceptions just because you are “not going to drink”. Our Nightmares and Nightcaps tours are for those 18 and up, however, only those over 21 can drink. And yes, your infant counts as a guest under 18/21 and, therefore, cannot join us on public tours. We can potentially make exceptions for private tours, but those must be arranged in advance, just email (info@nightlyspirits.com) or 1-8-Ghost-Tour (1-844-422-1309). In some cities, we also offer shorter tours that do not visit bars and are appropriate for all ages.
How much walking is involved?
We always recommend checking with your doctor to see if you are fit for a walking tour. It usually covers about 1 mile, but the routes change with the season. We also make 3-4 stops during this time, which may or may not have seating. Some tours visit bars in historic buildings that may not have an elevator. Most of our tours are not recommended for those with mobility restrictions. More detailed information about the difficulty levels can be found in each city’s tour description.
Do you tour in the rain?
Yes. We tour in all weather, so please dress accordingly. Nightly Spirits will reach out if your tour is not going to run due to inclement weather, so if you don’t hear from us, plan to be there! If you would prefer to reschedule, we must have at least two hours notice.
Is tipping acceptable?
While our guides really love to spend time with all of you every night, most are young professionals or college students. So yes, we do allow tips, but only if you had a great time. If you don’t have cash, most of our guides have multiple ways to take electronic payments, or we can add a tip to your booking.
