Question 1

What are your terms?

Accepted Answer

50% deposit required at booking, with the remainder due 2 weeks before your date. 
Full refunds available 30 days in advance. 
Weather cancellations will incur 50% of the total fee.

Classes run for 60 minutes from your booked start time.

Pricing is a flat fee for 1-6 people. 7+ individuals are $35 per person.  Cancellation terms apply to number booked.

Question 2

Do you offer hands on Assists?

Accepted Answer

YES!   With opt in consent - Always.  Geared towards the yogi feeling better and safer in any pose as well as during savasana.  Our teachers are Masters at feel good and empowering assists to help you feel the posture.

Question 3

Who can participate?

Accepted Answer

The simple answer is anyone that can get on and off the ground without assistance.  Yoga is for every age and body.   Beyond that, if you have a specific medical condition you are concerned about speak with your doctor.   Let us know if there is anything in particular, we should be aware of to offer choices to make you feel successful and safe.  PLEASE LET US KNOW IF ANYONE IS PREGEANT.  We want to structure a class with options for our moms to be on the mat.

Question 4

What should we bring?

Accepted Answer

We suggest applying sunscreen.  We will provide a water bottle.  Cool towels can be arranged for an additional amount.   Leave your yoga mat at the house or at home.  We have you covered.  Beach sand ruins traditional mats.  Mats are also available for non-beach classes.   You can wear yoga clothes, shorts, tees, bathing suits, loose comfortable clothing.  Whatever you would wear to a class or on the beach.

Question 5

What is a typical class timing?

Accepted Answer

Classes are priced at an hour.   Please try to be at the beach 5-10 minutes early.  Parking options will be communicated but as with any beach access can be tight.   If the class is at your beach house/rental/event space, we will arrange an arrival time to be able to set up for you.

Question 6

What if we need to cancel or there is bad weather?

Accepted Answer

Life and mother nature happen.   Your deposit is refundable within 30 days of the event minus any special items requested that are purchased for the class.  If we have to cancel due to weather (rain and high winds), you have the option of finding a location to have the class indoors.   If Compass Rose Yoga determines weather requires cancellation, we will refund 50% of the fee.
