The Cow Lot is where cowboys work their cattle and carry out essential ranch tasks. In 1952, Nat Fleming, a young bootmaker, rodeo announcer, and an entrepreneur from North Texas, had a dream. He wanted to provide the cowboys with two essential tools of their trade: a good hat and a pair of well- fitting boots. This dream led to the creation of the Cow Lot, a full-scale Western retail store. Over 54 years, the Cow Lot became known for its dedication to Service, Quality, Honesty, and Integrity.

What is a hat bar?
A hat bar is an interactive experience where guests customize their own hat by selecting the style, fit, branding, ribbon, feathers, pins, and other embellishments.
Do guests create their hats on-site?
Yes! Guests design their hats at the event, and we customize them on-site so they leave with a finished piece.
Can you brand initials or logos?
Yes! We offer custom branding & laser engraving, including initials, dates, and select logo options.
Do I need an appointment?
For in-store hat shaping experiences, walk-ins are always welcome during business hours. If your party includes more than three guests, we do recommend coordinating with us ahead of time so we can schedule a dedicated shaper to assist your group and ensure everyone has the best experience. Private events do require advance booking to secure your date and staffing.
