What you'll do:

The Upper Colorado River is an ideal spot to try out fun “river toys” like inflatable kayaks, also known as duckies. With stretches of gentle and moderate water, it’s perfect for first-timers or those looking for a more hands-on river adventure. These sit-on-top kayaks offer a personal and playful way to explore the river, while still following experienced guides. Both single and tandem duckies are available, making it great for solo paddlers or pairs who want to share the experience. The river features mostly Class I-II rapids, with the occasional Class III during high water, keeping things exciting but approachable. Guides are there every step of the way to ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident on the water.

• Itinerary

  • Meet at our Rancho Del Rio boathouse at 4199 Trough Rd, Bond, CO 80423 (Drive into the area and look for the big white arch and blue storage containers)

  • Trips leave twice daily at 9AM or 1PM

  • Gear up & meet your guide(s)

  • Shuttle ride to put-in location

  • River time with fun, rapids, and swimming holes

  • Arrive at your take-out location

  • Shuttle back to the Rancho Boathouse
