Private Cooking Class or Demonstration by The Untamed Chef

About this Experience

What you'll do:

Food and friends are one of life's greatest pairings - so create an unforgettable experience by hosting a private cooking class with us! The Untamed Chef creates a unique and memorable experience for all with our private group cooking classes. This is the ultimate choice for those who want to make party planning fun and hassle-free. Chef Mary will personally work with you to create a custom culinary experience for groups of 10-30 guests that will leave them raving about it for weeks. This is a delicious and fun way to celebrate any special occasion - bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, wedding/engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, team or office parties, baby showers, family reunions, girls/guys night out. Whatever the special occasion is we can help you turn it into a fun & memorable event!

There are two types of private classes: a Standard Cooking Class or a Chef's Table Experience. A Standard Cooking Class is a hands-on, sleeves rolled up class designed for home cooks at all skill levels from beginner to experienced focusing on culinary techniques and making cooking fun! A standard class runs 3 hours from start to finish, reserving the last 30-45 min for dining.  You and your guests will prepare a full three-course meal including Appetizers, Entrée/Sides and Dessert.  Each guest will receive a menu packet complete with the recipes they will be creating.  Maximum class size is 20 comfortably.

Our Chef's Table Experience is the ultimate choice for those who want to experience the private chef cooking class while not actually cooking! This 2 - 2.5-hour demonstration-style class will allow you and your guests to enjoy dinner and a show! Your chef instructor will walk you through each course, demonstrating the cooking techniques used and offering tips and tricks along the way. Choose your 4-course menu and leave the rest to us. Our chefs will take care of everything so you can relax and enjoy the show! We will make your party planning fun and hassle-free. Each guest will receive a menu packet complete with cooking tips and the complete recipes demonstrated and tasted in the class. This makes a truly unique, memorable, and relaxing rehearsal dinner the night before your big day.  The maximum class size is 30.

Why we love it for your party:

  • Customized menus and classes (Tailored to your group’s tastes, dietary preferences, and party theme. From simple cooking techniques to more advanced skills, we can teach you whatever technique or cuisine you wish to master - the choice is yours!)

  • Luxury experience (Sip champagne or custom-crafted cocktails while your chef guides you through your meal preparation or prepares a multi-course meal using fresh, seasonal ingredients right in front of your eyes, while explaining each course in our Chef's Table Experience, where presentation is as stunning as the flavors)

  • Interactive fun (We’ll design a cooking class experience that keeps the party lively, involved, and fun!)

  • Stress-free hosting (Forget the hassle of reservations or crowded restaurants. We handle everything so you can focus on celebrating)

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect at a cooking class?

Standard Class attendees will work together in groups of up to 4 at shared workstations. You'll have a workstation with all the tools and ingredients needed for each recipe and you'll enjoy a generous helping of everything you make at the end!

What should I wear to a class?

For standard hands-on classes we will provide you with an apron, but for your comfort and safety, causal attire and flat rubber soled, closed toe shoes are recommended. We recommend wearing casual clothes you don't mind getting a little bit messy. Please do not wear open-toed , high heels or sandals as you will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class. Chef's Tables classes we encourage you to dress as fancy as you would like - it's your party look amazing!

Can you accommodate food allergies or restrictions?

Yes. All menus are totally customizable so any food allergies or restrictions can be accommodated.
