Cruise lake Michigan's beautiful seas along Chicago's magnificent skyline on one of our four luxury 40ft yachts, enjoying your personal food, spirits & music on an amazing Bluetooth speaker system, while "chatting it up" with friends. Anchor and venture into the water after securing one of our huge floating pads for a refreshing Lake Michigan splash!
The famous "Play Pen" and "Monroe Harbors" (South-end near Buckingham Fountain & the Chicago Planetarium), anchoring locations are havens for fun loving boat and water enthusiast!

The Route!
Define your plan and path with your hired Captain. Depart the harbor heading towards Chicago's Navy Pier, ultimately reaching your destination to drop anchor for a Sea of Fun.
It is truly an amazing joyous time on a beautiful 40ft luxury yacht with added safety [Walkthrough Windshield] feature that allows you to walk from bow to aft in the center of the boat vs. along the side of the yacht. Safety First!
Note: It is advisable to wear a flotation device when getting in the lake.

How many people are allowed on the boat
(13) passengers plus (1) Captain
Are spirits, food and drinks allowed
Yes, bring your personal snacks, food and drinks as desired. Be mindful of glass containers and if brought, think twice before placing on tables. That said, curate your own experience.
Where should I cruise? Can I anchor in the Play Pen?
Yes, curate your travel itinerary with your captain to align on your route and anchoring location, in which the Play Pen and Monroe Harbor are great options.
Are Captain fees included
Captain's fees (paid directly to captains usually on day of cruise), are separate from Yacht and fuel fees (paid to us). Captains determine their rate with you, typically $125/hr. We will provide a list for your consideration. Gratuity for captains is your choice - Captains may request 10-20% of yacht rental fee. Captains are not employees of ATYE - yet operate as independent agents and navigate for various owners.
What does the Yacht and Fuel fees cover
USCG regulations require charterers/renters to pay for the use of the yacht (Yacht Fees), and Fuel (Fuel Fees). Regulations prohibit owners from providing food, spirits, etc. Renters welcomed to bring refreshments of choice.

What food and drinks can we bring?
Bring your food and drinks of choice...Be mindful of glass and drinks/food which may stain (e.g. red beverages and food with red dye).
Can I tie up / raft to another boat?
We have four (4) yachts in our fleet and yes, many clients rent multiple boats and tie up for a great time.
What is your cancellation and weather policy?
Cancellation must occur 5 days prior to cruise date for every reason except weather conditions. No need to cancel for anticipated weather conditions 5 days before....Typically, we coordinate weather related decisions with the captain morning of the cruise, and will provide a full refund should conditions prevent cruising.
Can we swim and are there floating devices available?
Yes, swimming is permitted at your own risk, assuming conditions permit. Suggest no jumping off the boat, particularly the bow; nor transferring from the yacht to any motorized vehicles, for your safety.
Can we cook on the boat?
Cooking is not enabled on the yacht - yet you're free to bring your food of choice. You may also be able to heat up items in microwave.
Do you have coolers?
Yes we have at least one cooler for your use. Clients may also use the small refrigerator in the cabin area during your trip.
What is expected of us during our cruise
Boating and the water is a beautiful fun adventure, assuming everyone engages the experience with care and safe practices. We expect clients and guests to have a joyous experience in a safe manner, including managing alcoholic beverage intake. Keep an eye on your friends in the water and about the yacht. Don't assume someone is "playing" as they are sinking while swimming. Safety first, act fast to inform captain and provide assistance. Please return boat in the same condition received. There is no cleaning fee unless we are required to clean-up behind group.
