What is permanent jewelry?

Does it hurt?
Not at all! The welding process is quick and painless. The chain never touches your skin which is protected by a leather guard.
How long does the appointment take?
Most appointments take about 15-20 minutes. This includes selecting your chain style, custom sizing, and the welding process. For groups or multiple pieces, please allow additional time.
Can I remove it if needed?
Yes! While it's designed to be permanent, you can cut the chain with scissors if you need to remove it for medical procedures, travel, or personal preference. We also offer re-welding for a small fee if you need to take it off temporarily.
Will it tarnish or change color?
Our 14k gold filled and sterling silver chains are high-quality and designed to last. With proper care, they maintain their beauty for years. We recommend avoiding harsh chemicals and lotions directly on the jewelry.

Do you offer a warranty?
Yes! All Forever Bonded pieces come with a 30 day guarantee against welding defects. If you jewelry breaks at the weld in the first 30 days we will repair it for free. Permanent jewelry chains are typically dainty pieces that do require some level of caution and we do not replace items that break in other places outside the weld for free. Just like regular jewelry if your not careful the chain can break (getting caught in your sweatshirt, caught on your pants). In most cases we can repair with a new jump ring for a small fee.
