I use professional equipment (super high-quality sound)
Ultra convenient... I provide everything! All I need is a 4ft x 8ft space and access to a standard (3 prong) power outlet. If you want lyrics displayed on your TV, please check that it has an hdmi port and/or is a smart TV compatible with screen mirroring. (I bring an ipad on a stand as backup.)

Drop the Mike Productions is a Charleston-based DJ company that performs worldwide. We are minority owned and operated and we believe that each of our clients' celebrations should be as unique as they are! We entertain weddings, nightclubs, boat excursions, and everything in between. Erin "DJ Erin Elyse" Brennecke started as a karaoke host in Washington State and joined forces with Drop the Mike in 2019. She has a diverse playstyle, and loves spinning something for everyone!

Noise Policy:
I respect city and HOA noise ordinances.
In most beach and residential areas, outdoor amplified music must be reduced after 10–11PM, depending on enforcement and neighborhood tolerance.
After ordinance hours, I enter “Volume Shift Mode”... energy stays high, volume lowers, bass gets controlled, party continues responsibly.
For full-volume outdoor chaos, please schedule during daytime or early evening hours.
Travel included within Charleston/Folly/Summerville area; travel fee applies for bookings outside of this area.
Client must provide access to power and approx 4ft x 8ft of space for DJ setup.
Weekend availability is limited during peak season, weekday availability is generally most open.

What's the weather policy?
In case of inclement weather (including but not limited to: extreme heat, wind, or rain), the party will need to be indoors (at DJ's discretion, a speaker *may* be placed outside). For the sake of safety, in all cases, DJ is responsible for making the ultimate decision regarding equipment placement.
