Not a bit! That's part of the fun! We'll introduce you to the basics of vintage hairstyling and makeup, helping you discover those fabulous retro looks. Think glamorous curls, classic lips, and a little old-school Hollywood magic. No beauty school diploma required!
Do we need to bring our own outfits?
We've got a client closet filled with vintage-inspired clothing and accessories for you to explore! You're also welcome to bring your own favorite retro pieces. Wardrobe availability and sizing vary, so bringing a backup outfit is always a good idea.
What exactly is included in the experience?
Your adventure includes a goody bag of retro beauty essentials, an introduction to vintage hair and makeup, access to our client closet, and approximately 10 minutes of professionally guided pinup photography for each participant. What if some of our bridesmaids are shy?
No pressure, darling! This experience is about having fun, not putting anyone on the spot. We provide friendly posing guidance, plenty of encouragement, and an atmosphere where everyone can participate at her own comfort level. You get to decide how glamorous, playful, or daring your photographs will be within our PG-13 style.
Can we choose our own vintage looks?
Of course! You'll be receiving a tutorial on basic retro hair and makeup, so some of the really complicated stuff like victory rolls etc. might be a challenge, but you'll have options for sure. Whether you're channeling a 1950s Hollywood starlet, a fabulous retro housewife, or a classic pinup queen, we encourage you to bring your own personality to the party. Our available wardrobe and accessories will help inspire your transformation!
Is this experience just for the bride?
Heavens, no! The bride may be the guest of honor, but every member of her squad deserves a moment in the spotlight! Each participant gets her own mini pinup photography experience. Because the bride isn't the only bombshell at this party!
How many photographs will each guest receive?
Every bombshell deserves a little photographic evidence of her fabulousness! Each participant will receive 10 professionally edited digital photographs from her individual pinup session. That's 10 opportunities to prove that vintage glamour never goes out of style!
How many guests can participate?
Whether you're celebrating with a handful of your closest girlfriends or bringing the whole bridal entourage, we'd love to join the party! We accommodate groups of various sizes though we can't exceed 20 guests, and please realize each guest is getting 10 minutes of shoot time so the more guests you have, the longer the shoot will take.
Where does the experience take place?
We bring the glamour to you! Your Bombshells Before the Bells experience takes place at a venue provided by your group. Whether you're celebrating at a vacation rental, private event space, or another suitable location, we'll bring the vintage flair, wardrobe, and photography experience. We'll coordinate with you beforehand to ensure there's adequate space for all the fun!
