Each shell is sustainably sourced from local seafood restaurants, then carefully cleaned and prepped by us so it’s ready for a seamless crafting experience. We guide you through the process step-by-step, and guests can create one ornament or add additional pieces if they want to make a set.

About this experience partner:
Shark Eye Designs is a sister-owned coastal art studio based in West Palm Beach, built from a shared love of the ocean and a habit of collecting “just one more shell” every time we’re at the beach. (We’ll admit—we probably spend just as much time cleaning shells as we do finding them.)
At the heart of what we do is the belief that crafting should feel approachable, creative, and genuinely fun. There’s something special about bringing people together to create—whether it’s laughter around the table, celebrating a milestone, or simply slowing down and making something with your hands. That’s the energy we bring to every event.

Yes—customization is one of our specialties. We can create personalized prints to match your theme, event, or guest of honor. Just contact us in advance so we can design something unique for your group.
Where do the oyster shells come from?
All shells are sustainably sourced from local seafood restaurants. We thoroughly clean and prep each one ahead of time so they’re ready for a seamless crafting experience.
How many ornaments does each guest make?
Each guest creates one ornament, but you can absolutely add additional pieces if you’d like to make a set or give extras as gifts. Just contact us through our webpage.
What do you provide vs. what do we need to bring?
We bring everything needed—shells, materials, tools, setup, and cleanup. If additional seating is required, we can also provide tables and seating for up to 8 people. Otherwise, you just provide the space, your drinks/snacks, and your group.
