We hired Chef Book LA to cook our Thanksgiving dinner and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was incredible, beautifully presented, and honestly better than any restaurant Thanksgiving meal we've ever had. The chef was professional, friendly, and made the entire experience completely stress-free. Every dish was cooked to perfection and our guests could not stop talking about how good everything was. It felt like a true luxury experience in our own home. If you're considering booking a private chef for any special occasion, don't hesitate, Chef Book LA is the way to go. We will definitely be using them again. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much to Chef Book LA and Marcello the chef for catering our school principal's retirement party. Marcello was so easy and pleasant to work with when I explained our theme was Hawaiian and he came up with a buffet style meal that was suited to our staff and our budget. The food was really delicious, slow cooked pulled pork for slider buns, cod, teriyaki chicken, vegetarian skewers, fried pineapple rice, potato salad. There was plenty of food to go round and it was delivered on time and Marcello made sure it was all set up nicely before he left. It was very tasty food and well prepared. I would not hesitate to recommend The Chef Book LA for any catering needs you may have for small private parties or larger events. Our party was for 90 people. The tasty food was very much enjoyed and appreciated.

If you're looking for a caterer for your event you have found them, not only will it be the best food you have at an event it will be some of the best food you'll have in LA. Marcelo catered our wedding and it was the best wedding food we had, we're not just saying that because it was our wedding. Seriously the custom made wood fire pizzas he prepared were better than some of the best pizza places in LA. We are both big time foodies and it was very important to us that the food at our wedding catering was sensational. Marcelo from Chef book la hit it out of the park to say the least. Not only did he put together our dream wedding menu but the presentation, customer service, were all equally exceptional. When I saw his spread for the first time I couldn't believe it was for our wedding. We kept showing the menu to our friends leading up because it looked like a menu for a five star restaurant. He was also super communicative leading up and a few weeks before the wedding was able to accommodate some last minute vegan guests with delicious options without hesitation. Do yourself a favor and hire him, can't wait to hire him and taste his food again.

Chef Marcelo Reyes created the most delicious "gluten free" and vegan dishes today for my dear friend's event. He and his staff worked non-stop from the minute they arrived for set up until it was over. This handsome & talented chef is half Chilean / half Italian. Available for all occasions. Check out his menu. There are regular dietary options as well as gluten free and vegan options. Today he served gluten free gazpacho, curry lentils, guacamole, vegan sliders, a wild rice salsa and a few other items. All muy bueno! For drinks they served a lovely sangria and fresh margaritas!
