We had a wonderful experience with Reno Food Tours. I live here and still feel like I learned so much about my own city. The tour guide was fun and made sure everyone could hear. It was an easy walk at a good pace. I would highly recommend this tour.

The food tour was a Christmas gift and we finally got a chance to book it! We are from the general area but we love food tours and thought it would give us a chance to find some new restaurants in Reno to try. We were surprised that we actually had a private tour since we were the only people there. But our tour guide, Nadia, was very sweet and gave us the same tour she would have given to a larger group. We went to 5 restaurants for food and drinks. Every place we went the food was really good and, although, we had been to some of the restaurants prior to the tour, we still loved getting all the inside scoop about their, the owners, the buildings etc. We also got quite a bit of history of Reno and the beautiful mansions during our walk. It was a really worthwhile tour and a great way to spend an afternoon. We want to do the midtown tour in the spring. So, if you are here on vacation, or a local, check out these food tours!

Ashleigh was an excellent tour guide. She was knowledgeable about Reno history and went out of her way to meet our group’s needs. The food tour is well worth its cost.

I really enjoyed this food tour. I have been on many different food tours through my travels, but I have lived in Reno almost 20 years total and this is my first food tour here! I learned some neat things about the history that I hadn’t known. I discovered a couple of potential new brunch spots! I also found a new place for lunch to enjoy for the future. Come hungry as the food portions are satisfying. Our guide Tammy was excellent. I also liked that at each stop we got to look at the menus to get an idea of the other offerings in each place. I would recommend this to visitors and would take people visiting me on this tour.

From start to finish, the tour was great. There was just the right amount of food to get a sample of each of the locations and get a feel for the atmosphere and environment of each of the stops. Our tour went to the Eddy Space/Firetrail Pizza, Cafe Capello, Old Granite Eatery, Wild River Grille, and Freshies in the Basement of the renovated post office by Virginia Street. Food at each of the locations was excellent and plentiful, but not overwhelming. I particularly enjoyed the pork belly and bruschetta at the Wild River Grille and the Strawberry Salad at the Old Granite Eatery. My wife loved the Avocado Toast at Cafe Capello and the BBQ Chicken Pizza from Firetrail in particular. We will definitely be back to everywhere we visited though! Tammy is very knowledgeable of the history and characters that helped define Reno from its early days to the present and we had a lot of fun spending the afternoon with her as we took in the sights and tasted some really yummy food. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to try some delicious food and learn about the history of the Biggest Little City in the World.
