About this experience partner:
GoBoat USA is owned in a joint venture by Danish GoBoat and Lavert Phillips, the African American entrepreneur, who started Float DC that is now known as GoBoat, The Wharf.
The first GoBoat location opened at Islands Brygge in Copenhagen in 2014. Starting with just 8 boats in 2014, GoBoat now manages around 60 boats in Denmark. Globally, GoBoat operates approximately 220 rental boats across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Italy, England, the USA, Colombia, and Australia. Learn more about all our locations here.
Starting with 3 employees, today GoBoat Denmark in a typical year employs about 60 people, including 12 full-time employees. Internationally, the GoBoat Group employs about 200 people every year.
GoBoat works closely together with local authorities (harbor, police, etc.), municipalities as well as several NGOs. GoBoat's approach in each location is to fit in locally and partner with relevant business and neighbors.
