Whiskey Ranch is a private working ranch • Located just 30 minutes south of downtown Kansas City in Bucyrus, Kansas • Experiences are private and customized for each group • No horseback riding experience is required • Closed-toe shoes or boots are recommended • Outdoor activities are weather dependent • Premium Atwood cowboy hats, Hyer boots, and Whiskey Ranch merchandise are available for purchase • Food, beverage, photography, and additional enhancements may be added to select experiences • Advance reservations are required • Guests must be 14 to participate in a trail ride • Exact address to the ranch will be given when a booking is confirmed

Yes. Whiskey Ranch is an active working ranch. Experiences take place in authentic ranch environments with professional wranglers and trained horses.
Do I need prior horseback riding experience?
No experience is required. All riding activities are guided and beginner-friendly.
Is this a public attraction?
No. Whiskey Ranch operates by advance reservation only and does not offer walk-in experiences.
What is the weather policy?
Whiskey Ranch is a working ranch experience held outdoors. Weather is part of the authenticity — however, guest safety and animal welfare are always our priority. Light Rain / Mild Weather Experiences will proceed as scheduled in light rain or typical Midwest conditions. Severe Weather In the event of lightning, extreme heat advisories, high winds, or other unsafe conditions, Whiskey Ranch reserves the right to reschedule the experience.
