What you'll do:
Calling all plant lovers, the Rooted Realm now has a workshop for you. Set a long-term intention with your group to celebrate new career, new life, important milestone, or simply a new season with this workshop, perfect for those interested in plant care.
Like all of our workshops, we begin with a short meditation to center your mind and body on setting a unique intention with the hope of watching it grow along with your new plant. After your meditation, you will be prompted to choose and decorate your terra cotta pot, though this is entirely optional if you prefer a more traditional, clean look. From there we're ready to start planting! During this process, you can expect conversation on why we're using certain soil mix, what each plant is, and how to care for it once your home. Using our personal favorite fresh soil blend, each guest has the opportunity connect with the earth during this small practice. Once your propagation is safely planted in it's new home, each guest can choose a water-safe crystal tower to adorn and enhance your plant.
Please note while we do provide some small trowels and the like, we do not supply gloves. Thank you for understanding.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the workshop?
Our Growing Intentions Plant Propagation Workshop is around 1 hour (60min). This includes meditation, explanation of the plants and supplies provided, decorating of your pot, and planting your new plant.
"Propagation"? What is that?
Propagation refers to the cuttings taken from healthy, thriving plants with the intention of rooting (either in water or soil) to then replant once new roots have grown. This is an excellent and usually easy way to create more plants from the ones you already have; as is the beauty of plants! The propagations we will bring are already-rooted cuttings from our personal collection, meaning they've spent about 1-2 months in water (our preferred method), slowly growing roots and preparing for this moment with you.
What's the mess level of this event?
To be frank, we are gardening. This workshop involves fresh soil, water, and live plants! It is not as messy as paintball, but we encourage digging in with your hands to connect to the earth you're giving life to so do with that information what you will. Ideally this workshop would take place outside, however we have the proper supplies to host indoors with (minimal) mess.
Can we choose the crystal tower offerings?
Absolutely! Once booking is complete and a deposit is down for 50% of your event price, we will communicate about your party's theme, offer some crystal and plant suggestions (based on what we have on hand), but if you have some must-haves, we can certainly incorporate those.
Can you help set the mood for the workshop at our event?
Totally! We offer our decor (vintage candlesticks and candles, pinnacle crystals like spheres and other large pieces, twinkle lights, etc) for an additional fee.
