Our team did an offsite for the day with Bay Lights Charters. We sailed around the bay and drank and ate from there fantastic bar. It was incredible and beautiful and the crew was really exception. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique team outting experience!

Beautiful boat, friendly crew, exceptional service! The team on the Gas Light was fantastic. Our customer appreciation event went off flawlessly. We had gorgeous weather, and a wonderful time was had by all. The team was punctual, detail oriented and helped make our event a success. Will definitely book again!

This past weekend (Aug 14th) I sailed with Bay Lights Charters on the Gas Light to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was INCREDIBLE! From the time I began booking, the staff was always super responsive to every email that I had sent. Their response time was usually within an hour! They were very communicative and went above and beyond from the time I got onto the Pier. The staff was super friendly and down to earth. They helped me and my guests bring all the food, gift bags, and other items on the boat and even set everything up for us in the main salon. They made sure to take lots of photos and videos of the charter which was SO great. It was also a really smooth ride which was so great. Incredible views too! This experience was a 10 out of 10 and I would 1000% book with them again the next time I want to go sailing. Thank you Bay Lights Charters!

Our experience with Bay Light Charters for our wedding was phenomenal. Right from initial booking they were super communicative; provided a break down of all our options for which ports we could take off from, food options, drink options, safety concerns, you name it they provided the information for it. Allie was incredibly responsive to all my questions (and I had many ) leading up to the big day. Having pretty much all the logistics in one place and only having to confirm headcount for food and drinks the month before made what I know could have been a stressful situation a breeze. They also provided language to share out to our guests about general rules and safety making it a quick cut/paste to our wedding website to update all our guests. We totally misread and didn't understand we could have done all the safety waivers ahead of time but on arrival the crew got everyone ready so fast. The wedding itself was more than we could have ever hoped for. We were greeted right where they said to be, the crew helped my friend and parter get our welcome gifts, guestbook, and favors setup before everyone loaded, and guided us to the boat. The crew set us up for a group photo right from the start making it easy for our photographer. Everyone introduced themselves and gave a rundown of what to expect as they managed the sails and moved around the boat. Our playlist was immediately setup and we were delightedly surprised that it played up on deck and not just below. We had chosen the charcuterie spread option for our food and were really impressed with the layout. They clearly took care in its arrangement. My partner and I talked through options with Jason the captain, for where they could take the sails down and kill the engine for us to do our ceremony (officiated by my grandma but they did offer officiant service if we needed it). We ended up going from the Alameda Marina to the Yerba Buena Lighthouse for our ceremony and made it under the Bay Bridge with a spectacular view of the SF city lights for my brothers speech. It was truly perfect. The crew was so sweet to all our guests, answering their questions, and being so kind with safety reminders for the young ones we had onboard. That's another thing, my 4 year old nephew and 7 month old niece were in attendance and The Gas Light provided life vests and were very accommodating. All our guests raved about how lovely the crew was, people loved being able to help with the sails, enjoyed all the conversations they had with different crew members, and were taken aback with experiencing the bay in a way they never had before. It was many folks first sail boat experience and it couldn't have been a better one. My partner and I also received such kind words about our ceremony and our guests from the crew at the end of the voyage. It made us incredibly happy to hear that our wedding was enjoyed by all. On top of everything the crew put all the content they captured into a video (including our entire vows and my brothers speech) and sent it to us within the week. It was so unexpected, we knew they were taking pictures but assumed it to be for social media/the website but not that we would get to see them all. Allie also shared out the photos and videos themselves to me to save and I am in love with the shots the crew got. From beginning to end was such easy and wonderful experience. I am so glad we found The Gas Light when looking for venue ideas. Our day was everything we could have hoped for. Thank you all at Bay Light Charters so much!

We had a fantastic time yesterday & enjoyed every moment on board Gaslight. It is a beautiful boat! We are more than 100% happy with your service. Capt. Sparky, Ruby, James, Andora and Spencer took care of every detail, to make our event wonderful. They made our guests feel special and cared for. We highly recommend Bay Lights Charters.

Captain Steve, Allie, Joyce, and Crew were fantastic. Highly recommend chartering a ride out in the Bay. The boat was pristine. The crew were very nice and helpful. The views of SF, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and everything else were unbelievable. We selected the open bar and charcuterie - which was fantastic. I haven't seen a spread like that, maybe ever.

We had a wonderful sail on the Gas Light, so I emailed Allie: "Thank you for this lovely video Allie! Wow, this is another sign of your all around great service. You and the crew were so helpful and friendly and made the day so enjoyable and memorable. We didn't want to disembark at the end of the charter. It was all so perfect, we couldn't have planned it better, spreading his ashes by Angel Island, I have good memories from when I was a kid, of taking our bikes on the ferry and riding around Angel Island and having picnics. And when I got home yesterday I looked at my pics from us sailing on the Gas Light 8 years ago and I have a picture of my Dad and I standing in the front right side of the boat, in the same spot where we released his ashes." Gas Light is a Gold Rush era Schooner. it's great to sail the bay on a historic boat. The crew is great, personable, and really experienced. They'll take you anywhere on the Bay; San Francisco, Alcatraz, Angel Island, under the Golden Gate bridge. They'll even sail into McCovey Cove for Giants game. Go sail on the Bay!

Our company event on the Gaslight sail boat was wonderful. Alli was a pleasure to work with. She was always quick to response to my e-mails. The Gaslight was able to accommodate our 33 employees plus a few guests, bringing our total to the max of 49. Everything was ready for our event upon arrival at the Richmond Dock. We could not have ask for better weather that Friday. Thank you to the crew of Gaslight for making our event so successful. Everyone had a great time!

We had the BEST time aboard the Gas Light. We chartered this beauty for a work event, approx. ~24 adults. Many were from out of town and loved the experience and opportunity to see San Francisco from this vantagepoint. As a Bay Area native, I also loved experiencing this part of our beautiful city. The crew was AWESOME, extremely attentive and made themselves available for any possible request- it was clear their goal was to make this a wonderful experience. We also enjoyed drinks and catering, and we were very happy with the spread (many options available). I look forward to chartering the Gas Light again for a personal event!

WOW!!! This was a special day we will never forget! From the moment we were greeted on the dock and through the entire day on board this was an experience like no other. Allie and Steve are the ultimate in hosts. The boat is gorgeous with a red carpet treatment of amazing drinks, snacks and smiles, not to mention the history, learning of the area and the sailing. My boys were mesmerized and can't stop talking about our day! I cannot recommend these two more highly for any charter you might need. With a capacity of up to 49 people, this boat was perfect for my team off-site! This boat is one of a kind, it is open and spacious both above and below deck. They have options for catering and a full bar. So AWESOME to be able to have my work friends and I enjoy all this boat has to offer. Definitely going to be doing this again. Such a wonderful crew, very accommodating and easy to work with. The boat is beautiful and the entire experience is even better. Gas Light easily accommodated my 48 person 50th birthday party sunset sail. Adults and kids enjoyed it tremendously. Couldn't recommend more!

Allie was super easy to work with, super organized, very responsive, and provided lots of options to make it work for us. We sailed aboard the Gas Light and it super chill and fun. Some chips and snacks were provided and they Allie even helped us put out the food we brought.

Wonderful day on SF Bay! Fine Captain, friendly / knowledgeable crew and a well selected spread below deck! The sails were up , which cant be said for every charter boat out on the bay... Gas Light is a very clean and well maintained Yacht!
