How do I book an appointment?
You can book, reschedule, or add on services to any appointment by logging into your Vagaro account at http://www.vagaro.com/thesaltywaxbar, or you can download the app right to your device! If you can not figure out how to book through Vagaro, please call or text us at (908) 907-8050.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
***MUST READ BEFORE BOOKING*** Here at The Salty Wax Bar, our cancellation policy is as follows… cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time will result in you being charged 50% of your service price. We have a strict 5-minute late policy, so we suggest planning extra time for traffic and parking! If you are 6 minutes or more late, you will be considered a no-show client. ALL no-show clients will be charged 100% of your service price!!!!
Do you have a refund Policy?
NO REFUND POLICY… The Salty Wax Bar has a no-refund policy on all services. If you are unhappy with your waxing appointment and contact the studio within 5 days of your appointment, we will offer you a touch-up and do everything we can to correct the issue! However, if the studio is contacted after the 5-day period, we unfortunately cannot offer a touch-up service. This also applies to any products purchased! Zero refund will be given!
Can I get waxed while pregnant?
Waxing while pregnant is STRONGLY encouraged all the way up to your due date UNLESS stated otherwise by your doctor!
Can I get waxed while on medications?
Waxing while using any medications that are intended for acne use or with a sunlight warning is extremely dangerous to the skin! These medications often thin the skin, making it very common for the skin to lift or burn while waxing. Some examples are Accutane, Retinol A, Renova, benzoyl peroxide, antibiotics, hormonal medications, Lyme medications, and/or chemotherapy drugs. If you are on any of these medications, terminate all waxing until you consult with your doctor and provide a written doctor’s consent.
