On this tour, you'll weave through the streets of the ever-changing NoMa and Union Market neighborhoods. You'll discover dozens of new and old murals while learning firsthand about the artists and art scene in DC. You'll see more than 20 murals!
The tour ends at the Union Market food hall, which offers tons of outdoor seating, amazing food and drink options, and great people watching.

About this experience partner:
DC Mural Tour is the only 5-Star mural tour in Washington D.C. Guided by not just a fan, Jason Bowers is also the Assistant Director of mural festival DC Walls, an art curator, and street art gallerist. I've lived in DC for 18 years. I've watched the city's street art and mural scene grow rapidly. I'm an experienced tour guide with years of experience.
I am an art curator and have helped bring many murals to life in Washington, DC. I have been fortunate to work with many of the artists whose work you'll see. You'll hear in-depth commentary, context, and stories about how these murals came to life!

Do you offer group rates?
Yes! We offer two tiers of discounts. For groups of 5-9 people, tickets are 10% off ($27). For groups of 10 or more tickets are 20% off ($24).
When is the tour offered?
Short Answer: Anytime you want! The standing tour is every Thursday and Saturday at 11:00am. Private tours can be scheduled at any time for groups of five or larger.
How long is the tour? What about the weather?
The tour is approximately 2 hours. It is a very easy walk on flat terrain. We only cover about a 1-1.5 miles. The tour is rain or shine, unless there is severe heat, rain, cold, or lightning. Your guide will work with you up until the morning of your tour to best determine if a cancellation or postponement is needed.
Do you offer refunds?
Full refunds are available up to 48 hours before the start of the tour. After that I cannot offer a refund, however I always offer the option to reschedule for no additional fee.
Do you offer other types of tours or add-ons?
Absolutely! We also offer a 90 minute street art tour of Adams Morgan. You can find details about this on the website. We also can arrange a special Union Market Street Art Bar Crawl. This tour features three stops at various Union Market bars as well as a (shorter) tour of the murals in the neighborhood. Rates vary. Please inquire.
