What you'll do:
This is not your average paint night. This is your party activity!
We show up to your Airbnb, hotel, or cabin with everything you need to paint and party, and you and your crew get to sip, laugh, and paint your way through a guided experience that’s actually fun, even if you swear you’re “not creative.”
It’s bring your own booze, so you can drink whatever you like. We absolutely encourage sipping while painting! A drink or two tends to bring out everyone’s inner artist, so expect to loosen up, get a little daring with your brush, and have way more fun than you planned.
Want to make it personal? You can upgrade to a custom-designed painting. Think paint your bride, paint your boo, or a design created just for your group’s vibe. It’s always a crowd favorite and guaranteed to get people talking.

About this experience partner:
Smoky Mountains Paint n’ Party is a mobile paint experience created by local artist Sylvia Jade. With a background in mural work and custom design, she brings an artist’s eye to every event while keeping the experience fun, relaxed, and approachable for all skill levels.
What started as a love for painting and a desire to make art feel more fun and accessible has grown into a go-to activity for bachelorette parties, girls’ trips, and group celebrations across East Tennessee. Each event is thoughtfully designed to feel easy, engaging, and a little bit different from your typical paint night.
Whether you're keeping it simple or upgrading to a custom design, the goal is always the same. Create something fun, make a memory, and give your group an experience they will talk about for years and maybe even hang on the wall.
Additional information:
Most events are about 2 hours of painting time
We include approximately 30 minutes for setup and 30 minutes for cleanup within your booking window
This is a bring your own beverage experience. Feel free to bring whatever you would like to drink
Guests 21 and over may enjoy alcoholic beverages. All ages are welcome to participate

What’s the difference between a Private Paint Party and a Custom Paint Party?
A Private Paint Party uses one of our pre-designed paintings. It's easy, fun, and great for all skill levels. A Custom Paint Party includes a design created just for your group based on your theme, idea, or inspiration.
What if I don’t know what to choose?
No problem! You can book a quick call and we’ll help you choose the best option for your group.
Do I need to have a design ready?
Nope! If you already have an idea, great! If not, we’ll help you choose or create one. Just book a quick call and we'll discuss design details and walk you through booking.
What if my guest count changes?
Just let us know! We can adjust your reservation to the appropriate group size before your event.
Is everything included?
We bring everything you need, from canvases to table coverings. The only things we don't bring are tables, chairs, and guests! BYOB (and or snacks)!

Where do you host the party?
We come to you! Parties can be hosted in your home, rental, or approved venue.
How much space do I need?
Each guest needs a seat and a small surface to paint. We’ll help you plan your setup if needed.
Do you travel?
Yes! We regularly travel to cabins, Airbnbs, and event spaces across the Smoky Mountains and Nashville area.
How does the custom design process work?
During booking, you’ll share your idea or inspiration. We’ll create a painting tailored to your group and skill level. If you'd like to talk it over before hand, just book a free 15 minute call! We're happy to help you design something.
What if my idea is too complicated or hard to paint?
We’ll simplify and adapt your idea so it’s fun and achievable for your group. You select a skill level while booking. If you'd like to talk it over before hand, book a free 15 minute call to discuss possible changes and modifications our painting designer.
How long does the party last?
Most parties are 3 hours, including setup, painting time, and cleanup. Don't worry, your instructor will handle the setup and cleanup so you can focus on painting and having fun!
Do I need any painting experience?
Not at all! Our parties are designed for beginners and we guide you step by step.
What is your cancellation policy?
You’ll receive a full refund if you cancel 7+ days in advance, 50% within 3–6 days, and no refund within 48 hours. Rescheduling is always available. Cancellation Protection can also be purchased as an ad-on, giving you the ability to cancel anytime.
Can I reschedule my party?
Yes! We’re always happy to help you find a new date and time that works for your group. Just reach out via email.
What if I don't like my painting?
First, you’re probably being harder on yourself than anyone else. Most people are! If it’s not your favorite, swap with a friend and take home a fun reminder of them instead. It’s one of our favorite parts of the night! You’ll also have a chance to win the instructor’s demonstration painting. We give one away at every event, either to the bride or by raffle. If you’ve booked a custom design, you’ll receive both the professional design and the demonstration painting as part of your experience.
Do you set everything up and clean up?
Yes! We handle setup and cleanup so you can relax and enjoy your event. We’ll arrive ahead of time to get everything ready and take care of packing up afterward.
What do I need to provide?
All you need is your space and your people (and some drinks, if you want!). Tables, chairs, a little room to paint, and your own sips and nibbles are perfect! We bring everything else.
Can we eat and drink during the party?
Absolutely! Feel free to eat, drink, and celebrate while you paint. That’s part of the fun.
What if some people don’t want to paint?
That’s totally fine! They’re welcome to hang out, watch, and enjoy the atmosphere. No pressure to participate. No need to include them in your headcount while booking either. That's for us to know how much supplies to bring. It's totally free to just enjoy the vibes!
Will everyone finish their painting?
Yes! We pace the class so everyone can complete their painting within the session.
What if my event is outdoors?
Outdoor events are great! We just recommend a covered or shaded area in case of weather.
What if we’re staying in a rental or Airbnb?
That’s perfect! We regularly host parties in cabins, Airbnbs, and vacation rentals.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date, especially for weekends and peak seasons. If a spot is open, you'll see it as an option while booking, last minute or in advance. If you find something that works for you, go for it! We can't hold spots.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, your paid booking secures your date and allows us to prepare your supplies and (if applicable) your custom design. But figuring out the details of your booking is free! Just schedule a 15 minute call with us on the booking page.
