What you'll do:
Let’s head for the hills! This road trip takes you out of Austin and into our beloved Hill Country. Texas has long been famous for its amazing BBQ, but many people don’t know the state is the 5th largest wine producer in the United States, so why not pair famous BBQ with fantastic wine?
We start at the Salt Lick, one of the most famous BBQ pits in the Lone Star State, where you can savor fall-off-the-bone brisket, sausage, turkey, and out-of-this-world sides. We’ll then wind through the hills, stopping at two of Central Texas’ best wineries so you can taste the different wines made in this area. This is the quintessential Hill Country tour!
