How long are the private charters?

Accepted Answer

Charters for 2, 3, or 4 hours long can be booked directly online. You can add additional hours, subject to availability, to your charter in advance for an additional cost by contacting us directly prior to your charter.

What is the maximum guest capacity?

Accepted Answer

Pelican X has a capacity of up to 45 guests per charter, excluding crew.
Pelican 11 has a capacity of up to 45 guests per charter, excluding crew.
Pelican 17 has a capacity of up to 80 guests per charter, excluding crew.

What furnishings and décor are on board?

Accepted Answer

Pelican X: The Pelican X boat is stylishly appointed with modern teak furnishings, comfortable sofas, chairs, side tables, and high-top tables. In addition, the boat also offers plenty of built-in banquette seating on both the first and second-level areas, with partial shade, and a full bar area on the first level.

Pelican 11: Pelican 11 features comfortable sunbeds and beautiful lounge and table seating adaptable to your event needs. The first floor offers plenty of shade, and the second floor offers partial shade. Available for a 4-course menu and tableware.

Question 4

What sort of clothing should we wear of our cruise excursion?

Accepted Answer

We recommend that guests wear soft white-sole shoes or sandals. High heels are NOT recommended for safety reasons.
We also recommend bringing a light coat or sweater, as the weather conditions can sometimes change and become cooler at sea. It's ideal to bring comfortable clothing, sandals, low shoes, a swimsuit, sunblock, sunglasses, a hat, and, most importantly, your camera to capture the amazing experience.
Each boat is equipped with 20 towels per trip.

Where are de boats docked?

Pelican X is located at the Cabo San Lucas Marina, Dock B, in front of Puerto Paradiso Mall – Luxury Ave. entrance.
Pelican 11 is located at the Cabo San Lucas Marina, Dock K, in front of Agua Salada Restaurant.
The Pelican 17 is located at the Cabo San Lucas Marina, Dock N, in front of Baja Cantina Restaurant.

Question 6

What are the booking requirements to reserve my charter?

Accepted Answer

You have the option of reserving a charter with either a deposit of $1,000 USD + fees or you can pay in full at the time of booking. If you book with a deposit, final payments are due 15 days prior to the sailing date.

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

30 days prior to the charter: 100% refund
29–16 days prior to the charter: 50% refund
Within 15 days of the charter: 100% nonrefundable

Question 8

How do I arrange transportation for my group to get to the marina and board the charter?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the size of your group, we can arrange either an SUV, sprinter, or coach to collect you and your guests from your hotel and take you directly to the main marina, where you will be greeted by your host who will escort you onboard the charter. Please note that there are rates associated with these transfers. Any yacht charters that are forced to cancel due to weather conditions are 100% refundable.

We only coordinate transportation from the hotel to the marina and back to the hotel.

Can I book a charter for an overnight stay?

Our charter boats are not designed or equipped for an overnight charter. All our boats are designed for luxury boating experiences and only operate during the day and for sunset cruises.

What audio system do you have, and can we connect our own devices to play our own music playlist?

Accepted Answer

All our boats are equipped with a high-quality sound system with Bluetooth connectivity for any device to play your playlist.

Question 11

What sort of activities and amenities are included in my charter?

Accepted Answer

All yacht charters offer a variety of activities and experiences. All charter activities include snorkeling gear, two paddleboards, a floating water mat, and whale watching during the season (only on Pelican 17).

What are some of the things that we will see during our charter?

Accepted Answer

The Sea of Cortez is an amazing marine life sanctuary, filled with blue whales that come through during their migration from January to March. Schools of manta rays feed throughout the day, and you'll see beautiful schools of bottlenose dolphins in the wild, seals, triggerfish, and parrotfish. The best part is that you can get up close and personal with some of our marine friends right there in the water. You will also visit Land’s End, the tip of the Baja Peninsula, the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, the Sea Lion Colony, Lover's Beach for snorkeling, and Pelican Rock.

How many bathrooms are on board?

Pelican X has 1 restroom, plus one specially designed for men's use.
Pelican 11 has 2 restrooms.
Pelican 17 has 2 restrooms, plus one specially designed for men's use.

Question 14

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

We do NOT allow guests to bring their own food and drinks on board due to limited space, refrigeration, and heating facilities. We prefer that you select from our menu options, which we can adjust and modify to accommodate any dietary requirements.

Question 15

Can I arrange for a casual or formal sit-down lunch or dinner to be served onboard the charter, and how many can this be chatered to?

What kind of food can I order for my Cabo boat charter?

Accepted Answer

All our charters include standard minimal catering, which is included in the rate. We also offer upgraded food and beverage packages, which are more robust and can be modified or curated to your taste and dietary requirements.

Are kinds allowed on board?

Accepted Answer

Yes, kids are welcome on board as long as they are accompanied by an adult. We also have life vests on board for children's safety.

What happens if there is bad weather?

We can reschedule your charter to a different day or offer a full refund.

Is the boat wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Please note that all charters have stairs to board, and Pelican 17 requires stairs to access the restrooms.
