What is Dungeons & Dragons?
Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a fantasy role-playing game that has been around since the 1970's. In it, you take on the role of a hero, join a party with your friends who are also playing as heroic characters, and go on an adventure where you delve into dungeons, fight monsters, and discover strange and exotic treasures and locations! All of this is powered by your own imagination with the help of your Dungeon Master, who acts as a guide, narrator, foe and ally. Your choices will decide if your character lives or perishes as your group works together to overcome the perils they face in the game. D&D at it's heart is a game about cooperation, story-telling, and of course, having fun!
Do I need to know how to play?
Not at all! Our expert Danger Master will walk new players through the basics of the rules at the start of the session and will answer any questions that arise. If you can roll dice, appreciate a good story and tell a joke or two, you can play D&D.
