Do we need any dance experience?

Not at all! Our classes are designed for all levels — even total beginners. Your instructor will guide the group step-by-step, starting with the basics before moving into a simple, fun choreography that everyone can enjoy and remember.

Dress comfortably — think fun and flexible! Heels are optional (depending on the style you choose), and dance shoes aren’t required. We recommend shoes that can pivot easily on wood flooring (avoid rubber soles). Most groups love to match outfits or wear something festive for the occasion!

Can we take photos or videos?

Absolutely! At the end of class, you’ll have time to record your final routine — a perfect souvenir to remember your bachelorette celebration. You’re also welcome to take photos throughout the experience to capture all the fun moments.

How many people can join the class?

We can comfortably host up to 20 people for private group sessions. If your group is larger, we’re happy to accommodate — we simply ask for an additional $10 per person beyond the first 20 participants.

What you'll do:

Get ready for a fun, interactive dance experience made just for your group! When you arrive at Miami Baila Dance Studio, you’ll walk up 26 stairs to our vibrant studio space, where your friendly instructor will greet you and get everyone moving.

You’ll start by learning the basic steps of your chosen style — Salsa, Bachata, or Sexy Heels — in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. Once everyone feels comfortable, your instructor will guide the group through a short, easy-to-follow choreography that ties everything together. You’ll dance it several times, making it simple and fun to remember!

At the end of the class, you’ll have the chance to record your final dance — the perfect keepsake to relive this unforgettable moment for years to come.

Who is Hazael?

Now manager of Miami Baila Dance Studio since April 2022, he continues to bring his experience, zest for life, and fun into his classes and private lessons while making sure every detail of Miami Baila allows everyone to feel home away from home. His goal is to make MBDS one of the funnest places to go to live a better life through the world of Dance one step at a time.

Who is Alejandro?

Living in Miami since 2013, with more than 20 years of experience taking lessons and enjoying the dance, he opened his doors of Miami Baila Dance Studio in 2019 to offer a location for those who want to learn this amazing New York City style of Salsa and Bachata for Miamians. He wants this location to be the home for many dances so that anyone who enters feels this is their home away from home and learn several styles of dance and live a better life one step at a time much like his own experience.
