My Love for Margaritas: Craft & Sip Experience in Cabo

Our favorite stop of the trip! We loved our host Hector who taught us how to make the most delicious margaritas we’ve had. He had great conversation and we felt like a guest in someone’s home. We will recommend this to our friends back home when they come to visit.

I loved this experience - the location, the host, the pace, the information… I feel so ready to go home and make margaritas for my friends and family, and even experiment with fruits and flavours. A big thank you for absolutely everything - I now have a new hobby, and so appreciate the kindness, enthusiasm, and conversation :) All the best!!

The margarita making class is more about an adventure deep inside the root of the Cabos and enjoying a great evening with your host and his stories. Loved every bite of it and managed to do all margaritas we then enjoyed :) Thank you for this experience and wishes great success to Marcelina place and his wonderful people.

Hector and staff created a wonderful experience for our group of three. We each made three full size drinks (Margarita variations) that were all delicious. The hands-on aspect was fun. We learned some great tips for recreating the drinks at home. The provided snacks were a fun surprise. We were taken great care of during the class. The ambiance of the outdoor bar in which the class was held was lovely. Would definitely recommend this class!

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening with Hector; the owner of the charming restaurant where the class was held. He had everything set up perfectly for making 3 delicious margaritas. I was very impressed by the thoughtfulness that went into planning the class. I had a little difficulty in finding the location but Axel helped me find it. I am planning to return for dinner and will add this experience to my list of recommendations to my friends visiting San Jose del Cabo.

We happened to have a private class and really enjoyed the conversation and learned so much about making really good margaritas. I used one of the recipes for my daughter’s wedding when I got back from Cabo.

5 Star Experience! 5 Star host! We came for the margaritas but left with so much more. The food pairings were a great touch. We obtained some skills to make our friends jealous.

Hector was welcoming and very knowledgeable about tequila, the salts, flavouring and margarita making. The margs were divine and pure tasting. Hector provided a good pace for experiencing all three samples. The addition of the chili rellenos was excellent. Overall, a great experience.

Our family had a great time trying a variety of margaritas! The snacks and ambiance made the experience extra special. We stayed after for food at the restaurant and had a fun night!

The class was so fun and the drinks were yummy. I felt like a real mixologist. Hector was so knowledgeable and engaging with us. He was so welcoming and the snacks he gave us were delicious. This is a must if you like margaritas. Our hotel was about 45 minutes away but the drive to and from the location was worth it!

Hector hosted a wonderful class. The pacing of the class wasn’t rushed, he was very knowledgeable while still being authentic and approachable. The margaritas were excellent and so were the snacks offered. We stayed and ordered food at the restaurant and it was some of the best food in San Jose del Cabo.

If you are looking for a fun, “local”, down to earth experience, and love margaritas, I’d highly recommend this experience! Hector’s quaint location off the beaten path near downtown San Jose del Cabo is an all-outdoor, shaded patio with local charm. We had a great time learning how to craft some special margaritas and enjoyed great conversation with our wonderful host, Hector. The tacos and salsas were delicious… so much so that we came back 3 days later to try brunch! Which did not disappoint!

This experience was the highlight of our trip to Cabo! My husband and I had such a great time learning about the history of the margarita and learning new ways to spice up our margarita game. Hector was an amazing host! The food and drinks were amazing! If you’re on the fence about booking this, just do it, you won’t regret it.
