Gather your crew for a hands-on craft party with a twist. If your group loves pottery, Lippan art is its sparkly cousin. You’ll build your design in traditional Lippan relief, then press tiny mirrors into your own design until it catches the light, guided step by step by the mother–daughter artists behind Terra Glow. No experience needed and all materials included. Everyone leaves with a one-of-a-kind keepsake they made themselves. About this experience partner:
Terra Glow is a women-owned, mother–daughter studio in Roswell: two generations, one creative dream. Trupti and Gopi preserve Lippan art, the traditional mud-and-mirror craft from Kutch, Gujarat, where mirrors once reflected lamplight to brighten homes. That’s the story behind their name: where the earth finds its light. Every session is small, personal, and unhurried.

Each guest takes home their own individual 10-inch piece; couples take one shared piece home, and families may take 2 shared pieces home.

How long a finished piece takes: Studio Lippan pieces take about a week because each layer of clay, mirrors, and paint dries between steps. Your session covers the creative part, and we use a quick-dry break during your session so you can take your piece home the same day. Some designs need a short return visit.
Payment: A deposit confirms your booking. Terra Glow will text you a secure payment link.
Cancellation: Cancel at least 7 days before your booking for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of your booking are non-refundable.

Booking options:
Small Group Party: $60 per person, minimum of 5 up to 10 guests. Fewer than 5? Request a quote, and we’ll work out a price. Each guest takes home their own 10-inch piece
Couples Date: $125 per couple. One shared piece. Want two? Ask for a second-piece add-on
Family Session: $275 flat for 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 5+) + $75 for any extra child and takes home two pieces.
Add-ons:
Personalization: Dates or initials +$10; names or words +$18
Clay-and-mirror style upgrade: +$25 per person.
Mirror-work candle holder: Decorate a ceramic candle holder with Lippan mirrors. +$35 per person.
Coasters: Set of 2 mirror-work coasters (4×4 in), $35 per person.
Return session: +$10, only for designs that need a second visit. We’ll let you know when you book, and you’ll pick both dates upfront.

What is Lippan Art?
Lippan art, also called mud and mirror work, is a traditional craft from the Kutch region of Gujarat, India. Artisans once shaped designs from mud and natural materials onto the walls of their homes and set small mirrors into them. In homes without electricity, those mirrors caught the glow of oil lamps and filled the room with light. Today, we use modern materials so you can create your own piece and take it home.
What do we make?
A Lippan mud-mirror keepsake you create your own piece — pick from design ideas like a family tree, a cozy home, or a big-heart/little-heart pair, or bring your own idea. Boards are prepared and patterns traced; you do the relief work and mirror placement with our step-by-step guidance.
Is this like a pottery class?
It has the same hands-on, sculpting feel, but there’s no wheel or kiln. You shape clay by hand and set real mirrors into your design for a piece that catches the light.
Can we make candles?
We offer something more unique: decorate your own Lippan mirror-work candle holder as an add-on.” This keeps the keyword without promising candle-making.

Can you come to our Airbnb or venue?
Our workshops are held at our studio, and that’s on purpose! Lippan art means wet clay, paint, and tiny mirror pieces, so our space is set up to get messy, and you don’t have to worry about your rental’s security deposit. Just show up, create, and leave the cleanup to us. For groups larger than 10, contact us ahead of time and we can arrange a nearby location.
When are you available?
Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Weekends are available by request with advance notice.
What are the packages?
Small Group Party at $62.50 per person (up to 10 guests), Couples Date at $125 per couple, and Family Session at $275 for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Can kids join?
Kids ages 5 and up are welcome with an adult.
Can we customize our design?
Yes! Share your occasion when you request a quote, like initials, a date, or a theme, and we’ll plan it with you.
Will our pieces look like the ones in the gallery?
The gallery shows finished pieces made by our artists over several days. Yours will be simpler, and that’s the fun of it: you made it.
How long does a finished piece take?
It depends on your design. For most pieces, we use a quick-dry break during your session so you can take your finished piece home the same day. Some more detailed designs need a short return visit to complete. If yours does, we’ll let you know when you book, and you’ll pick both dates upfront. Return sessions are $10 extra. Standard pieces are 10 inches, but if you’d like a different size or a custom design, just let us know when you request your quote so we can prepare the right materials. Pricing may vary.
What should we wear?
Something comfortable that can get a little messy. You’ll be working with grout and paint.

Do we need to bring anything?
Nope! Boards, mirrors, grout, and tools are all included. Just bring yourselves and wear something that can get a little messy. Have something of your own you’d love to decorate, like a mirror, frame, or planter? Mention it when you request your quote and we’ll let you know if we can work with it.
What if we need to reschedule?
No problem. Just text us at 678-462-7614 as early as you can, and we’ll find a new date that works for you.
Do we need to book in advance?
Yes! We prepare and buy materials for each booking, so please request your quote at least 7 days in advance, especially if you’re adding extras like a candle holder or coasters.
