Private Island Tiki Boat & Candle Making Party (BYOB)

We visited Charleston for my bachelorette trip this past weekend and one of our activities was the private candle making pool party. The space is beautiful and even though it was pouring rain, we got to make our candles on the shaded porch and jump in the pool. We had an amazing time and Jenny was amazing. They had a content creator who was super sweet and took a ton of pics/videos for us. Our candles are adorable and have personalized labels for our Mamma Mia themed trip. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

The candle making on a private island experience with Island Candles was AMAZING! Jenny and her team set everything up for us and walked through each step so clearly. Their energy brought the vibes to our party up! There were plenty of scents, colors, and fun wax decorations to choose from making it so easy to personalize each candle! The candle making process only took a couple of minutes and then were able to swim at the private island (all BYOB)! Such an incredible experience for any trip!

I had the best time at this candle-making workshop! Jenny, the owner, is so knowledgeable and patient, she guides you through the whole process and makes it fun and relaxing. The atmosphere was wonderful, and I left with beautiful candles and such a memorable experience. Jenny just opened here in James Island, so if you’re in the area, definitely check it out, you won’t regret it!

I’ve NEVER liked candles. I’m very sensitive to fragrances and I never like the way they smell! You’ve converted me, Island Candles! 🙌🏻 Not to mention how you educate your customers and your classes are so fun. I’m a customer for life 🤩

The highlight of the trip for all my friends and me was the time we spent with Jen and her adorable puppy, Hazel Basil! Jen was so kind and generous! She decorated and catered to all our needs. We had a great time enjoying the Charleston weather by the beautiful pool and learning how to make candles. Jen taught us about candles and candle care in a fun way. Now, we have a souvenir and a memory to cherish every time we light our candles. I highly recommend Island Candles and having Jen be a part of your parties in Charleston!! It is a must💕

Jenny gave our group the most fun candle making class. There were all kinds of shapes and styles available, but she also has other cute items for sale as well. Highly recommend.
