About this Experience
What you'll do:
Board the TSC Jeanne Marie — Galveston's only luxury sailing catamaran licensed for 12 passengers — and spend three hours on the calm, protected waters of West Galveston Bay with your crew and your people.
Set sail on Galveston Bay – Cast off from the marina and glide into the open water as the city skyline falls behind and the Gulf horizon opens up ahead.
Lounge on the foredeck – Stretch out on cushioned deck seating as the boat moves smoothly under sail, no engine noise, no rocking, just water and wind.
Watch the sunset from the water – Time your sail for golden hour and watch the Galveston sunset from the best seat in the bay — flat, stable, and entirely on your terms.
Keep the party going in the cockpit – The wide, shaded cockpit seats your whole group together, so no one gets split up and the conversation never stops.
Cool down in the air-conditioned cabin – Step below deck into a fully air-conditioned salon with a large refrigerator, a private electric head, and a generous serving area for food and drinks.
This is what a Galveston sailing experience looks like when the boat is big enough for everyone, stable enough to dance on, and comfortable enough that nobody wants to go home.
Why we love it for your party:
12-passenger capacity – The only catamaran in Galveston licensed for groups this size, so your whole crew sails together — no splitting up, no second boat.
Flat, stable sailing – Catamarans don't heel over, which means guests can move freely, dance on deck, and enjoy the ride without bracing against the motion.
Protected bay waters – The route stays within West Galveston Bay and Offatts Bayou, keeping the water smooth and the scenery close — no open-ocean swells.
Air-conditioned cabin – A full below-deck retreat with cold air, a large refrigerator, a private electric head, and room to regroup when the sun gets serious.
Crew-taken photos – The captain and crew handle the camera so every guest is in every shot — no one stuck behind the lens for their own party.

Outside of a fantastic party, what else can we do?
There are several options available. We can meet you at two restaurants, No. 13 and Moody Gardens, or an event center, Bayside Event Center, where you can have a white tablecloth meal and then join us for a wonderful sunset experience. Depending on the time of year we can combine a sunsetter with a waterside tour of the Holiday Lights at Moody Gardens or fireworks shows in the summertime. For those more active, we work with a kayak rental company to facilitate a guided or unguided tour of North Deer Island, which is a fabulous bird rookery in West Galveston Bay.
Do you have a bathroom.
Yes, we have on board a private bathroom with an electric home size toilet. This is unusual for a vessel of our size. Most boats in the 30'-35' range have a manual pump toilet.
Will we feel safe moving around the boat?
Yes, you should feel safe and secure moving around the boat. We have an open deck forward and a large cockpit area, Easy same-level access to solon from the cockpit. No more than two steps to any level on the boat. We have a 42" three-tier rail around the boat. Its re-enforced design can hold a person's body weight several times over. We removed the "tripwire" lifeline and replaced it with the much more substantial and robust railing system.
What about children?
Of course, we have children on board all the time. They are more than welcome. Generally, we have children under twelve wear ski-jacket style Type III PFD's [lifejackets]. They count the same as an adult in your passenger count. Our captains and crew are not babysitters. You remain responsible for their safety.
