About this Experience

What you'll do:

TSC Jeanne Marie is the only luxury sailing catamaran on Galveston Island that can accommodate 12 passengers. Your sailing venture will be as memorable as it is different from any shoreside party. Sailing Sunsets are spectacular. Wildlife sightings are fantastic. With our spacious decks, cockpit and cabin we easily accommodate you and eleven your closest friends.

Catamarans are inherently stable. With no heeling over moving around is easy as well as dancing. We sail in the protected waters of West Galveston Bay and Offatts Bayou. You and your friends can concentrate on having a good time not just standing up or dealing with the consequences of Mal de Mare.

Our amenities include cushioned lounging on the foredeck, large cockpit with seating for 12, cabin air-conditioning, a large serving area, a large refrigerator available to guests, an on-board private bathroom with an electric home-size head (toilet).

Outside of a fantastic party, what else can we do?

There are several options available. We can meet you at two restaurants, No. 13 and Moody Gardens, or an event center, Bayside Event Center, where you can have a white tablecloth meal and then join us for a wonderful sunset experience. Depending on the time of year we can combine a sunsetter with a waterside tour of the Holiday Lights at Moody Gardens or fireworks shows in the summertime. For those more active, we work with a kayak rental company to facilitate a guided or unguided tour of North Deer Island, which is a fabulous bird rookery in West Galveston Bay.

Do you have a bathroom.

Yes, we have on board a private bathroom with an electric home size toilet. This is unusual for a vessel of our size. Most boats in the 30'-35' range have a manual pump toilet.

Will we feel safe moving around the boat?

Yes, you should feel safe and secure moving around the boat. We have an open deck forward and a large cockpit area, Easy same-level access to solon from the cockpit. No more than two steps to any level on the boat. We have a 42" three-tier rail around the boat. Its re-enforced design can hold a person's body weight several times over. We removed the "tripwire" lifeline and replaced it with the much more substantial and robust railing system.

What about children?

Of course, we have children on board all the time. They are more than welcome. Generally, we have children under twelve wear ski-jacket style Type III PFD's [lifejackets]. They count the same as an adult in your passenger count. Our captains and crew are not babysitters. You remain responsible for their safety.
