About this Experience
What you'll do:
You'll spend six hours offshore on the Gulf of Mexico aboard the Stelluna, a purpose-built charter boat that takes you from live bait to trophy fish without skipping a beat.
Catch live bait – You start by catching your own live bait right off the dock, setting the tone for an active, hands-on day on the water.
Troll the open Gulf – On the way out, you'll drag lines for king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, wahoo, mahi-mahi, and sailfish as the Stelluna covers water toward the fishing grounds.
Bottom fish over reefs and wrecks – Once you arrive, you'll drop down over natural reefs and sunken wrecks, targeting snapper, grouper, amberjack, and triggerfish with Captain Judah calling the shots.
Fight hard-pulling species – Whether it's a bull red or a big amberjack, every hookup on this boat is a workout you'll rotate in and keep rods bent throughout the day.
Chase pelagic trophies (optional upgrade) – Anglers who want more can book extended specialty trips targeting mahi, wahoo, sailfish, blue marlin, and tuna, starting at 12 hours and going up to 3 days offshore.
From the first cast to the last, the Stelluna runs a full-action format, no dead time, no waiting around. You leave the dock with a plan and come back with a cooler.
Why we love it for your group:
Local knowledge – Captain Judah Barbee has fished these waters for years and knows exactly where the fish are holding, so you spend more time fighting fish and less time searching for them.
Built for all skill levels – Whether you've never held a rod or you've been fishing your whole life, the crew adjusts the experience to match your group, no experience needed.
Two techniques in one trip – Trolling on the way out plus bottom fishing at the grounds means you're not locked into one style; you get the best of both in a single outing.
Family-friendly setup – The Stelluna is a comfortable, safe boat with a crew that's patient with kids and first-timers, a solid pick for groups that aren't all die-hard anglers.
Extended trip options – If your group wants to go big, multi-day overnight excursions are available for serious offshore anglers chasing blue-water species.
