1. How long is the tour and what time does it start?
The tour is 10 hours total. Pickup is at 7:00 AM from your Waikiki hotel, and drop off is around 5:00 PM.
2. What kind of vehicle do we ride in?
You’ll travel in a high roof Mercedes Sprinter, with AC, plenty of space, and large windows perfect for sightseeing. It’s private for just your group.
3. Is this tour good for families or large groups?
Yes — this tour is designed for families, bachelorette groups, bachelor crews, multigenerational groups, and friend trips. It’s flexible, comfortable, and moves at your group’s pace.
4. Can we swim at the waterfall?
Yes — the waterfall swim at Waimea Valley is optional. The trail is a paved, easy walk, and a lifeguard is on duty. Bring a swimsuit, towel, and dry clothes.
5. Is the hike difficult?
No. Waimea’s waterfall trail is roughly ¾ mile, paved, and suitable for most ages and fitness levels.

6. What’s included in the tour?
Waimea Valley admission, Byodo-In Temple admission, Pali Lookout, hotel pickup and dropoff, a fresh Leonard’s malasada, and photo guidance — plus photos taken of your group throughout the day.
7. Is lunch included?
Lunch is not included, but you’ll stop at the North Shore food trucks with plenty of great choices like garlic shrimp, poke bowls, BBQ plates, vegetarian options, smoothies, and desserts.
8. What should we bring?
Water, sunscreen, swimsuit and towel (if swimming), comfortable shoes, sunglasses, and a fully charged phone or camera.
9. What ages can join this tour?
All ages are welcome on the private tour. Each passenger counts as a seat. Car seats are not provided but can be brought from home.
10. How many people can join the tour?
This private tour can accommodate up to 14 guests comfortably.
11. Is the tour customizable?
Yes — because it’s private, your guide can adjust pacing, photo stops, and small parts of the route based on your group’s interests and energy.
12. What if the weather is bad?
The tour runs rain or shine. Waterfalls are often best after rain, and we adjust stops for the best conditions throughout the day.
13. How much walking is there?
Very minimal — mostly short walks at scenic lookouts and a paved trail at Waimea Valley. This tour works great for mixed ages and mobility levels.
14. Does the guide take photos of us?
Yes — guides are trained photographers and will help you take great pictures, plus capture group shots and candid moments along the way.
15. Can we bring drinks or snacks?
Absolutely. You can bring water, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages for the day. There are also several snack and drink stops along the route. No eating in the van.
16. Do we need to bring cash?
Cash is helpful for food trucks or small vendors, but most accept cards as well. Admissions and malasada are already included.
17. What’s the cancellation policy?
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for this private experience.
