Best tour guide ever! Shad was the best. Could be a comedian. Laughing the whole time. Would recommend for anyone who loves rum.

Shad and Kyle were amazing tour guides. Shad’s stories and sense of humor made the experience! Rum tastings and drinks were delicious! And the visit to the German skate shop was phenomenal. Would definitely recommend! One of our favorite memories of Nassau!

Spectacular excursion. Jason was a perfect guide, rum tasting was a delight, loved the history of the area, and the mixology was a great way to end it. Do yourself a favor and skip the beach, avoid the normal tourist spots, and try this delightful tour.

Jason was our tour guide, and he was absolutely fantastic. I can’t say enough about his knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness. My friend and I ended up being the only two on the tour, and it was totally private – what a treat! Everything was fun, but the speakeasy was my favorite part. Jason made the tour so interesting and I would recommend him to everyone.

We had a great time with Cody. He was friendly and shared great information about the area . We had a memorable time making our own drinks at the SpeakEasy. The bartender , Michael, was fun and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend, getting off the beaten path with Cody.

Everything was great. Our tour guide, Shad, was very entertaining and delivered well beyond our expectations. The entire tour lasted about 3.5 hours, but it didn’t feel like it. Included 3 mixed drinks, a rum tasting (5 samples), and two additional tastings (pina colada and wine).

Fun tour make sure you wear good shoes! Wish there was a litttle bit more tasting on first location and another snack at the end but overall super fun guys!

We took the Rum Runners tour around Nassau and had a fantastic time. The rum and food were brilliant, but our tour guide, Shad, really made the experience shine. His unfiltered takes on Bahamian history, local rums, resorts, and products were both entertaining and insightful. I'll also echo a sentiment from other reviews - You're gonna get drunk. Drunk enough to enjoy Shad's puns if you aren't refined enough to do so sober. Watch your step around stairs, but otherwise, enjoy!

Shad was a great guide. He was very entertaining the entire time. We enjoyed the stops and the timing of everything given we didn’t want to be in the sun/heat too much. The rum tasting at the end of the tour was excellent. It was a fun way to allow us to cool down and get to know different rum options and get a good buzz🍹

Cody did an amazing job on the tour, funny and very knowledgeable. It was very educational and fun. Loved the historical part and learning about rum running, pirates, rum making, prohibition, and the history of how the Bahamas came to be. It was raining on the day of our walking tour, they provided ponchos and allowed plenty of time to look around and ask questions. We never felt rushed. Would highly recommend.

Jason was absolutely the best!! His storytelling and vibe was unmatched!! He was hilarious, genuine, kind, and super informative.. I honestly could not have had a better guide. Would def recommend this tour! He knew the city and history as if he lived during the time. You need Jason hands down!! Then the rum was delicious, to top it off!

We had a great time on this tour! Jason was our guide. He knew his history. Never realized that prohibition affected the Bahamas so much. The rums were great! And the mixology was fun too. Definitely recommend. Jason made very enjoyable.

5 STARZ FOR SHAD’s RUM ISLANDZ TOURS! Shad was an unforgettable host during our rum tour in Nassau. He offered an energetic and decolonial perspective of the history of the Bahamas with both fun facts and fun charisma. Be prepared—Shad’s unrelenting and raw take on Bahamian history is a lot to swallow in the best possible way, but the sheer amount of rum on this tour is even more to swallow!

We did the Rum Runner tour and loved it. The meeting spot is clear on the information provided when we signed up. It was boozy— so buckle up. Shad was the most talented guide I’ve ever had — his ability to tell stories, engage every participant (including a 14yo) & do the accents of relevant players in history was delightful. He learned all our names which demonstrated his ability to make the tour special.

Cody was a wonderful guide on our Bahamian rum tour! He was knowledgeable, kind and fun. Highly recommend taking this tour with Islandz Tours and ask for Cody!

We did the John Whiting Rum Tour and explore downtown with our host Shad Fer. Shad was amazing.. had great stories, funny, interesting, different voices and very personable. Definitely book this tour - ask for Shad too! 5 out 5 stars

Fox took us on the rum runners tour, we had so much fun. Fox is full of knowledge about the island & his friendly nature made the tour extra special. Fox took great care of the group especially during and after the cocktail making. Definitely recommended!

A group of 4 of us did this rum tasting, and we all had a great time. Mikey was very friendly, funny, and outgoing as he led us through the hour tasting/mixology. He started off with some history about rum running and Nassau, a lot of which I did not know and enjoyed hearing about. The speakeasy itself had a nice atmosphere and definitely added to the experience. We all made a Bahama Mama, and even though we were running out of time, we didn't feel rushed to finish our drinks. We would've gone back to the speakeasy on a night that it was open (Mikey invited us back and gave us the code to get in), but we sadly ran out of time. Apparently, they set out some board games for people to play.

We LOVED our private spirits tasting and mixology at Downtown Nassaus Speakeasy with Shad. Shad is an excellent guide with great humor and fantastic stories. We learned a lot, had a lot of fun and had a lot of delicious rum. You definitely get an amazing bang for your buck with this tour!!

The friendly staff made the experience even more enjoyable, offering pairing suggestions and personal stories behind each blend. Beyond the tastings, the tour included a visit to the picturesque downtown for learning about local agriculture and the rum-making process.
