Highly recommend Lake Austin Water Sports! I rented a jet ski as a surprise for my husband’s birthday. We’re from Austin but haven’t been on Lake Austin in a while. We had a great time exploring it from the water. Booking was a breeze, pickup and drop off at the location we specified was easy, and James was a great communicator. The only thing I’d change is on our end and booking for longer than 2 hours next time. The 2 hours flew by! Love that they’re a family owned business and would 1000% book with them again.
We had the BEST time renting a ski boat in Austin! Our captain, Kelly, was awesome—fun to be around and made the whole day such a great vibe. We love to wake surf, and he did an amazing job driving for both our experienced riders and giving clear, encouraging instruction for our first-time surfers. The boat itself was perfect, the energy was great, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back and booking with this company again. Highly recommend!
My wife & I spontaneously decided that we wanted to rent a jetski this morning. After a quick Google search, we called Lake Austin Watersports and Jetski rentals. We spoke to James & Kelly at 12:30pm and met them at 3:00pm on Lake Austin. The jet ski & life jackets were new and it came with a full tank of gas. Super reasonable rates, great customer service. Would absolutely recommend reaching out to James & Kelly for all Jet Ski needs to beat the heat this summer.
Great trip with first time wake surfers! Captain and first mate were so helpful to my kids making sure they could get up successfully! Captain knows the lake so well and it was the best experience. I love driving my own boat but it was so nice to just relax and let them do all the work!
We had an AMAZING experience out on Lake Austin with Kelly! We tubed and he taught a few of us to wake surf (and was super patient/experienced in this regard). I would recommend booking with them vs some other companies out on the lake. They were kind, professional and had an amazing boat for us- 10 out of 10!
Lake Austin Watersports was outstanding. Easy to schedule, good communication, and a great boat for a morning on the Lake. Kelly was an excellent captain: helpful, flexible, and knows the Lake.

I had an amazing time using Lake Austin Watersports rental. The jet ski was well maintained and was a powerful model. The staff was on time, very nice, and helpful! The company allows you to start and end your rental across many locations on lake Austin which is extremely convenient and few other companies do.

We rented a pontoon boat for a friend’s bachelorette party and had the absolutely best experience. It was the highlight of our weekend. James was such a fun captain, I couldn’t recommend this company (and James) enough. If for any reason we ever need another water rental on Lake Austin it will be with them!

We rented the Double Deck Pontoon with a Slide and two jetskis - such a great combo for a day on the water. The pontoon was super spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating and shade if you wanted a break from the sun. The slide was a huge hit with the kids, and they also provided a giant lilypad (looked like a floating yoga mat) and pool noodles to lounge on the river. Special shoutout to James, who was driving the pontoon. He was hospitable, friendly, and really helped make the day extra fun. He kept the vibe relaxed while making sure everything ran smoothly. The jetskis added the perfect mix of excitement to an otherwise chill day. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and ready to go when we arrived. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back for another trip!

My Family rented Lake Austin Watersports or a 3 hour wakeboard experience. My teenage sons had a amazing time learning how to wakesurf. They were very patient and helpful with instructing them how to properly get onto the board and out of the water. I would highly recommend!
Kelly was very nice and patient with us. His boat was very nice also. We appreciate that he will pick up from several locations on the lake.

Great experience with the 4 hour Sea Doo rental on Lake Austin. James and team were very helpful, easy to work with. Will rent with them again. Recommended!

We rented a boat for Memorial Day weekend through Kelly, and he was a wonderful captain. We had an amazing time, especially the kids who loved tubing. Everything was smooth, fun, and memorable. Would definitely rebook with him again!
