Absolutely hilarious!! We have such a good time when we go. It's not for the easily offended, but what this crew does with Shakespeare and some alcohol is a blast. We love it and will go again. We love the small venue and the audience participation!

This show FAR exceeded my expectations! A raunchy, theatric and hilarious experience that had every single person laughing. The staff and actors are extremely talented and dedicated. The drinks were quick, easy to order and delicious! You get a complementary shot when entering, it’s a cute, intimate and well decorated theater. And yes, the actors are actually drunk! My friend and I got a Groupon for it and can’t wait to bring all our friends!

The most fun I have had in a VERY long time! The actors & actresses were amazing! From their wit, to their complete character immersion, to their ability to improv on a dime making it seem seamlessly just part of the show. I got to sit in the royalty seat and it did NOT disappoint. I will definitely be back. All hail Queen Brandy

Without a doubt, on the most fun nights I’ve had in my 46 years on this planet. Every single member of the cast gave off such great energy it was impossible not to smile like an idiot for 90 straight minutes. I need to go back as much as possible.

This was our first time attending a show and we had such a wonderful and entertaining time. Everyone from the actors to the drink runners to the audience were just awesome and excited to be there. We are already planning to attend again with family. I would highly recommend attending a show if you can. You will not be disappointed!!!

I wish I would've taken more pictures but seeing as it was my first time there I wanted to be fully immersed in the experience and omg was I. I went for my birthday and had the absolute best time. The actors were great, the drinks were great, it was all just a blast, 1000% will go again!!

Phenomenal and hilarious show that pays respect to Bram Stoker. Great for a date night. Our 5th show to attend, and will definitely be back.

First, the setting. Drunk Shakespeare is located in an intimate room set behind a bar, lined with book shelves all around (color-coded for artistic visual effect, definitely not practical for finding a book of interest). There are at most seats for 60 people, lined in a full circle around a small, oblong stage in the middle. The bar was quaint but had top-shelf cocktails on menu and afforded all the opportunity to order drinks for delivery to each seat (how convenient is that?!). My companion got the Juliette and I got two Friars. What to say about the performance? All 90 minutes was brilliant! The actors were experts at making the audience comfortable and playing with the Shakespearean script seamlessly to their benefit for effective and hilarious improvisation. We had plenty of laughs and by the time the show was concluding, we also felt invested in the character's well-being. Wonderful entertainment, highly recommend. Only recommendation for improvement might be if the theater can implement some tables between the occasional chair - drinks had to be balanced in hand or on the ground (a precarious location given the actors and close proximity to other patrons).

So much fun! My wife and I had been wanting to check out the “Drunk Shakespeare” series for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger for Romeo and Juliet and show did not disappoint. The acting was great, the mix of traditional Shakespeare and comedy was perfect, and the atmosphere was amazing. The theatre is an intimate space where everyone feels part of the action. I highly recommend checking it out!

A surprisingly good show. Went for a anniversary date to see a dinner and a show. Expected just drinking and a reenactment of Romeo and Juliet. Got so so so much more. It was funny and entertaining. Will come again.

This was my second visit to Drunk Shakespeare. The talent of the performers just amazes me! Sing, dance, comedy AND incredible knowledge of Shakespeare! Audience participation adds to the fun of the experience. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

If you are looking for a night of fun, look no further than Drunk Shakespeare! The reviews speak for themselves and our rendition of Macbeth was truly hilarious. Mo brought so much charm and quick wit to the performance, and kept the audience engaged and laughing. Caleb’s comedic timing was spot on and his energy on stage was hysterical. The mix of improv, Shakespeare, and drinks created an unforgettable experience that had everyone smiling the entire night. I left with sore cheeks from laughing and a whole new appreciation for live theatre!!

I had an amazing time at the show! From beginning to end, pure entertainment. The cast did a fabulous job with their acting and keeping the audience engaged. The unique interpretations, adlibs, music choice, costumes, audience interactions, and stage setup made for a perfect show. I recommend it 100%!

I’ve been here twice while visiting, both times were performances of Macbeth but I can HONESTLY say both times were both great, totally different and the crew is truly amazing! ! I think I might make this a tradition every time I’m in town because from the performance to the drinks, they seem to never disappoint! By far one of the greatest experiences ever! Took my sister for the first time this time and she’s obsessed now! :)

The only reason I had a 5 star experience is because a thousand stars was not an option! The show was phenomenal! The actors were absolute perfection. I was blown away! I fully expected this performance to be amazing. It exceeded my expectations 100 fold!

This is such a great show. Lots of laughter, jokes, and drinking. The actors are talented, and it was a pleasure to serve as the queen. I hope they have a very long run and huge success.

This was so incredibly well done. Hilarious from start to finish- I was crying laughing! The cast are great actors who know their Shakespeare and somehow manage to add modern quips mid-line. The delivery was impeccable and they had great audience engagement. 10/10 will be recommending to everyone!

A great experience! The performers were all spot on, especially when the drunk actor pulled the show twelve different directions (in such a funny good way). You never know how the show will end, and this was no exception! A great audience also helps to make a great show, and last night's audience was superb. So much fun!

So much fun!! The talent of the actors is amazing. Be prepared the laugh until you hurt!

The actors were incredible, lots of energy and emoting, very skilled. The event was fun. The venue is small, sort of fits the experience but tight.

Soooo much fun! We were laughing out loud the entire time and we enjoyed the Shakespearean parts as well. The show. was much more interactive and intimate than what we were expecting. The actors are all so much fun to watch and interact with. The drinks were also delicious and Shakespeare themed as well. I highly recommend the Lady Macbeth. Definitely go catch a show! Be warned that it is pretty raunchy, so don’t bring your grandma (unless she’s cool).

Chicago visit for 4 days... This was top notch entertainment. A great vibe, out loud laughing and of course cocktails! Just go! Just Do It!

I have gone to a few shows at this location, the MacBeth, Rome and Juliet, as well as Dracula. My friends and I had the opportunity to go and see the preview for Drunk Dracula and the new host Nicholas was AMAZING, he was hilarious and had amazing crowd work that really brought the show together. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to go and see!

If I could give this show more than 5 stars, I would! It was absolutely hilarious from start to finish. Our group of 8 had a blast and everyone left saying the same thing—what an amazing night! The drinks were on point, and if you love laughing and having fun, this is the place to be. it was a very fun experience. Great staff, great actors, hysterical improv, everything was fantastic. The only reason I’d give it four out of five stars is that the seating is all solid benches and I didn’t know it ahead of time. But the staff was fantastic and put me in a chair instead just as my back would not have survived 90 minutes on a bench with no back support. But again a great time ahead by all and really a fun upbeat worthwhile experience.

It was hilarious evening and incredibly fun. My wife was pulled up to dance with Romeo! We will definitely attend another show.

Absolutely amazing! Hilarious, fun, and a great way to enjoy Shakespeare. (Not for conservatives, this is DC) But if you enjoy Shakespeare, improv, and comedy clubs, this is the place to be. The actors were amazing. The show was hilarious. Thank you for a fun night.

He-He In celebration of my daughter's 21st Bday we went to see this play and boy oh boy we had a blast.. Laughter after laughter and not a dull moment in sight.. Actors are awesome, super nice and hilarious.. We were excited to go see this play and it was definitely worth it.. My daughter enjoyed every single moment of it.. I'm from FL and I definitely recommend anyone that visits or lives in Houston, TX to go see Drunk Romeo & Juliet.. Thank you for a great show!!

We came to the show as on a whim. Wasn’t sure what to expect but “when in Rome”.. The actors were great and hilarious!! The show was never boring. I honestly was sad when the tablet to pay our tab was passed around, I knew it meant the show was soon to be over!!

Amazing performance - even the drunk actor did a superb job. And they pulled me up to help settle a challenge! I laughed, I swooned, and I certainly drank - including my reward for helping with the challenge. A very pleasant, intimately space, and the actors make great use of it. SIT NEXT TO ROYALTY, if given the chance!

Best time! We got to be the royal patrons and even though I was murdered I loved it. We laughed so hard and everyone is wonderful! Highly recommend!

This was an ecstatic experience! If you love shakespeare or just love a good time this is the show to see. The actors are authentic, but still leave room for original giving a unique and enjoyable experience. I intend to repeat to see other shows in the future!!

What an amazing evening!! The best version of McBeth I’ve ever seen. From the comedic timing and off-script antics, to the delicious cocktails and snacks (highly recommend the caviar), this experience was the most memorable highlight of my trip to Chicago.
