Wyoming Stargazing

I booked a session for my husband who is interested in astrophotography. He learned a great deal about using his camera at night. He took some wonderful shots of the Milky Way at 3 difference iconic locations, and really enjoyed his time with Mike.

Very cool experience and would definitely recommend! The night was predicted to be cloudy but our guide Sara was amazing and showed us as much as possible between each cloud passing. She is knowledgeable, excited to teach and discuss, and kindly checked in with everyone. Genuinely in awe of our view of the Milky Way! Logistically: easy to book, many options for pick-up and drop-off (my pick-up the office after arranging), staff was very respondent, and everything was provided (camping chairs for viewing, blankets, refreshments).

We had such a great tour with Lilly and East! They knew their stuff, answered all our curious questions, and made star gazing such a blast! Highly recommend a stargazing tour with this group!!

We had a wonderful time with our star guide for the night, Kelly! Very informative and comfortable experience. Her knowledge got my whole group into the experience of learning about the universe, and the brilliant Jackson Hole night sky did the rest!

Oh man - what an experience. No special outer space knowledge required to have an unbelievable time. The entire WS team was courteous and timely, from booking to confirmation to the main event. Our guide, Lily, was absolutely the best. Passionate, knowledgeable, patient with our questions, caring about our needs. She made sure we were comfortable and informed the entire time. My wife Jani and I went on a Stargazing tour with Wyoming Stargazing on August 10, 2023. Nicole was our leader. Boy, did we have the time of our lives! It was a beautiful, clear sky lit up by the stars and the Milky Way. And, Nicole set up the telescope to get a clear view of several stars, a binary star system, several nebulae, the highlight being Saturn and its rings! She was clearly knowledgeable about the night sky and it was great to see her excitement when she was explaining about the heavenly bodies; it was clear she is passionate about astronomy! This tour was clearly one of the highlights of our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Thank you Wyoming Stargazing and special thanks to Nicole.

We had a private stargazing tour with Connor. It was so much fun. Connor kept my kids engaged and provided great information on stars, planets, etc. It was a highlight of our trip!

My husband and I had a wonderful private stargazing tour last night with Eons, an astrophysicist. She was informative, funny, enthusiastic and so passionate about the stars. Highly recommend! Definitely bundle for the cold, though blankets are provided.

We saw this experience on a map brochure and went for it without really knowing what we were getting into. WOW! An once in a lifetime experience. We were picked up by Ben (an astrophysicist!!!) for a night observing the stars. He made the information easy to personalized and easy to understand. We are so thankful we had the opportunity to see stars, galaxies, and nebulas etc. Shout out to Ben again!

Dr. Sam is extremely knowledgeable and nice. He is so accommodating and lets you sit and watch the stars and other celestial bodies for as long as you like. We went on a clear night and so I was able to see the Milky Way for the first time, which was a milestone experience for me. You will feel so blessed to have gone on a stargazing tour with Dr. Sam to watch the vast, dark skies of Wyoming!

We booked a last minute tour on Dec. 8th 2024 and do not regret one single second of this tour! Everything, from booking to pickup, the actual tour and drop off was absolutely perfect and smooth. Andy was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. Answered all our curious questions, spent more than the allotted time showing us the different stars, nebulas, clusters, and we even got a glimpse of the aurora borealis!! I would recommend this tour to anyone without hesitation! Thank you Andy for a great learning experience!!

the best star gazing experience. Sara, our leader, is a real astronomer and not a pedestrian simply following a script. she really educated us and got me excited to look at the skies at night. Sara was able to answer our questions of the celestial bodies with detail and in a fashion that we weren't lost in fancy lingo. it was also amazing to see so many stars. i was also very surprised at how many satellites you can see zipping across the sky. i highly recommend Wyoming Stargazing.

Fantastic experience. If anyone is on the fence with this. You have to go. The view is incredible, the hosts were funny and extremely knowledgeable. Just a great time. Just book it!!
