Sunshine Watersports

We searched Destin for a family-friendly dolphin cruise. We were NOT interested in loud music, booze, and excessive speeds because we had young children in tow. Sunshine Watersports was the perfect choice! The crew (Owen and Hannah) were super friendly, courteous, and professional. It was a great tour as we saw numbers of dolphins, even one pod with a baby. Overall, it was a wonderful tour. We couldn’t have imagined a better experience. Thank you so much, Owen and Hannah of Sunshine Watersports! Highly recommended!

We had a great experience with our pontoon rental! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - special shout-out to Bear for making everything smooth and enjoyable. The prices were awesome, the boat was super clean, and the entire rental process was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

Alex and Val great at getting us booked and in the boat. If you get the half day pontoon, it's older and the speakers don't work, but they'll give you a portable speaker. Potoon ran great and it was fun to hang out at Crab Island! We didn't have any floats, so remember to bring one you can attach to the pontoon.

We had a fun time. They even gave us free ice. The boys at the dock were super courteous and helpful. They let you fish from the pontoon ( not all places do). The only thing I would change is the anchor rope was short and couldn’t reach the bottom aside from sand bars.

These guys did a great job setting us up in a rental pontoon! The price was right and the boats were nice! They were also extremely helpful helping us load and unload and loading us up with free ice!

We absolutely loved the Dolphin Cruise with Josh and Hannah last week. It was our very first time ever going on one. Im so glad I booked. It was fun and very informative. Josh did a great job at not only finding the Dolphins, but telling us about stuff happening around Destin. Pointing out the good food places out on the water. We will definitely be back to do more fun things. Heads up on parking. If I was you, I'd back into the parking spot. It took us a good long while to get out of that small packed parking lot. Back in and try parking close to the exit side. Thank me later😂

I had a very pleasant experience with Sunshine Water Sports. They truly focus on customer satisfaction. I booked a sunset cruise with them, and it was wonderful. The crew patiently waited for the actual sunset, no matter how long it took, which made the experience even more special. We were also delighted to see many dolphins in the evening as they came out to play in the cooler water. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable ride!

We went on the dolphin sunset cruise last night, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Kyle and Josh were the best captain/hosts, making sure we all saw the dolphins and had an enjoyable time. Highly recommend this cruise, we’ll be back next year! For some reason I can’t download photos of the dolphins, but we saw a lot of them, they put on a good show for us!

Did the snorkeling 2.5 hr cruise. Much fun. Lots of kids and all ages aboard. I consider it worth the money. Crew was great!

What a wonderful time we had. So many dolphins and sharks! The snorkeling was shallow water and great for beginners. Boat was clean and Kyle and Westley were knowledgeable and awesome hosts.

Great captains. Great wildlife. Even better music playlist! Perfect way to start the day with some snorkeling and dolphin sighting!

We had a great time. Kyle and awesome were great and made sure we got to see things not even planned on the trip. Very relaxing. Snorkeling we could have used less jellyfish, but hey, it’s the ocean!!! Well down by both of you.

Our snorkling /dolphin cruise was an amazing birthday vacation for my daughter and granddaughter and son. We saw dolphins riding beside boat we caught hermit crabs and saw a blue crab and many fish and sea snails our host were great and made us feel safe and entertained.

Their 2 stop snorkeling and the dolphin cruise is awesome. We booked for the second time again with them as we had a wonderful experience for the first time with these people. 100% recommend this whenever you are is Destin!!

Braden and Brandon were great!! Great sense of humor and made everyone laugh. They definitely knew what they were doing and made the trip enjoyable and put those who were nervous at ease. They are wonderful and highly recommended going parasailing with “Just Chute Me” and requesting Brandon and Braeden. They were the best This was my third trip with this company and wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Went to two spots snorkeling, the jetty and the seagrass beds. We went to the gulf and the bay looking for dolphins. We saw several pods. A group swam directly under the boat. Some in our group saw a huge sea turtle. We had a hermit crab race from ones we got from the grass beds before releasing them. A person in our group got the coveted crab racing champion belt. The crew was very knowledgeable and helpful. A very good experience.

The pontoon boat was new and in terrific shape. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our family of six had a fabulous time out on the water. We saw a lot of dolphins. We will definitely do it again.

Wonderful experience. We did the sunset dolphin cruise one night and came back the next day for the snorkeling trip !!! Delightful both times !! Staff was very helpful!! Getting in an out of the boat for snorkeling was alot easier than I was expected. Staff was ready to assist if needed. We will be back !!! Thank you for the beautiful memories you helped create.

Rented a pontoon from Sunshine Destin for two of the days we were in Florida. The boats were in absolutely great condition. The staff was great and made sure we had everything we needed before heading out. They also recommended great areas to visit. We will definitely be using them again and will recommend to anyone going to Destin. Thank you all so much!!!
