Full of the best local art, with a bright and friendly atmosphere. Their classes welcome folks of any skill level with warmth and encouragement! Amanda and Lindsey helped us make a beautiful art piece for our anniversary. If you’re thinking about popping in or signing up for a class you’ll leave inspired with something you love!

This gallery is an absolute gem of the downtown community. There’s always something new and there are a lot of fun classes for all ages.

I enjoyed visiting this gallery. I could not leave without purchasing this beautiful little glass mosaic. don't leave Ottawa without visiting this gallery. I was very impressed by the different artists they have in the shop and all the activities they offer the community and the Art Gallery. just so impressive that they are showing different artists in the area, art .what a beautiful thing. every community should have something like this and I wish them nothing but blessings, they are doing such a good for their community.

We had a painting party for a friends birthday and we had so much fun! Highly recommend for a relaxing, fun time. There was lots of patient instruction and help. We will definitely be back!

I attended the Cyanotype class with a friend and we had so much fun learning this fascinating print-making technique. Instruction was clear and easy to follow. A friendly and welcoming environment. If I lived locally I would definitely book in for other classes here.

We took a group paper making class and stopped in the next day to make cyanotypes off the drop in “Art Menu”. Both experiences were awesome. Amanda is so kind, helpful, and enthusiastic. We’re from out of town but we’ll definitely visit next time we’re in the area.

Open Space Art Gallery has something for everyone! Workshops for all ages that are perfect for date nights, a night out with friends, or a solo excursion if you're interested in meeting new people and learning about a new medium or technique. There is a new exhibition in the gallery every month which is always exciting to see and the artisan shop is packed with locally made items that are perfect for gifts or for treating yourself. Highly recommend.
